Аннотация: Для ромбоэдрического антиферромагнетика симметрии R3m с фрустрированным обменом в базисной плоскости и конкуренцией обменов между ближайшими и вторыми соседними плоскостями рассчитана фазовая диаграмма основного состояния. Диаграмма содержит фазы коллинеарного антиферромагнитного упорядочения разных типов, разделенные пятью несоизмеримыми магнитными состояниями геликоидального типа, различающимися по типу упорядочения и направлению вектора модуляции. Соизмеримые и несоизмеримые фазы сходятся в мультикритических точках, лежащих на линии, соответствующей антиферромагнетику с неискаженной простой кубической решеткой.

Аннотация: The phase diagram of the ground state has been calculated for a rhombohedral antiferromagnet of the R3m symmetry with frustrated exchange in the base plane and competition of exchanges between the nearest and next-nearest planes. The diagram contains phases of collinear antiferromagnetic ordering of various types separated by five incommensurate magnetic states of the helicoidal type, differing in the ordering type and in the direction of the modulation vector. The commensurate and incommensurate phases converge at multi-critical points lying on a line corresponding to an antiferromagnet with an undistorted simple cubic lattice.

Аннотация: Для двухподсистемного магнетика с фрустрированным межподсистемным обменом и конкуренцией между обменами в одной из подсистем предложена новая несоизмеримая магнитная структура с локально треугольной ориентацией спинов. Структура возникает при понижении температуры из антиферромагнитного (АФ) состояния путем фазового перехода первого рода. При выполнении пороговых условий на обменные взаимодействия она переходит в треугольную структуру Яфета–Киттеля (ЯК). Увеличение протяженности фрустрированных обменных связей приводит к появлению между соизмеримыми АФ- и ЯК-фазами несоизмеримой фазы с локальной АФ-ориентацией подрешеток в каждой подсистеме.

Аннотация: A new incommensurate magnetic structure with a locally triangular orientation of spins has been proposed for a two-subsystem magnet with frustrated intersystem exchange and competition between exchanges in one of the subsystems. When the temperature is lowered, this structure appears from the antiferromagnetic state after a first-order phase transition. It transfers to the Yafet-Kittel triangular structure when the threshold conditions for the exchange interactions are fulfilled. An increase in the length of the frustrated exchange bonds leads to the appearance of an incommensurate phase with the local antiferromagnetic orientation of the sublattices in each subsystem between the commensurate antiferromagnetic and Yafet-Kittel phases.

Аннотация: The conditions of the appearance of conical incommensurate structures have been studied analytically for a ferrimagnet with the geometrically frustrated exchange between spins in different magnetic positions (subsystems) and the competition between exchanges in one of the subsystems. The phase transition temperatures to the conical states have been determined. The types of phase transitions have been determined by the numerical minimization of the free energy and (temperature-exchange parameters) phase diagrams have been obtained.

Аннотация: The phase transitions into flat and conical incommensurate magnetic structures are considered for a ferrimagnet with the dominant nonfrustrated exchange between the spins in one crystallographic position, competing exchanges between the spins in another position and frustrated exchange between the spins in different positions. The appearance conditions and the temperatures of the second order phase transitions are analytically obtained in the mean field approximation. The first order phase transition between these states is studied and the phase diagrams of temperature vs frustrated exchanges are calculated by the numerical minimization of free energy.

Аннотация: A system of two nonlinear differential equations for sublattice angles is proposed to describe the spin orientation distribution in a planar antiferromagnet with uniform antisymmetric exchange in a magnetic field. This system involves the initial symmetry of the problem and is reduced to a single delay differential equation. The solutions of this system are parameterized by the initial condition imposed on the angle of one sublattice at the hyperbolic singular point of the phase space. The numerical analysis of the stability boundary of soliton solutions demonstrates that the transition to the commensurate phase takes place outside the region where the stochastic solutions appear and is accompanied by the magnetization jump Delta m similar to 10(-1) m.

Аннотация: A new mechanism is proposed for forming an incommensurate magnetic structure of the transverse helix type owing to the removal of frustration through intersubsystem exchange in a two-subsystem antiferromagnet. The symmetry analysis of the distribution of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and comparison with the experimental data on the field dependence of magnetization indicate that antisymmetric exchange and competition between symmetric exchanges cannot be responsible for forming a helical magnetic structure in CuB2O4.

Аннотация: The eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the energy of two-magnon states in the finite one-dimensional isotropic Heisenberg model S = 1/2 with free boundary conditions were found by solving the Schrodinger equation. The obtained solutions are single-parametric in contrast to two-parametric solutions in the model with cyclic boundary conditions. The amplitudes of the wave functions of coupled two-magnon states exponentially depend on both the distance between the flipped spins and the coordinate of the center of the complex. This leads to a localization of low energy complexes at the ends of the ferromagnetic chain.

Аннотация: By means of the exact solution of the Schrodinger equation the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the energy for two-magnon states in the one-dimensional isotropic Heisenberg spin chain of N spins-1/2 were found. It is shown that symmetrical and antisymmetrical complex solutions have different K-dependences of the energy. Exact values of the quasi-momentum for both branches are compared with a string hypothesis prediction and solutions of the Bethe ansatz equations. With the help of the obtained solutions it was shown that resonance absorption leads to a change in momentum of the existing magnon and excitation of the magnon whose momentum is different from the absorption momentum.

Аннотация: Analysis of the incommensurate magnetic structure that emerges for two coexisting types of the antisymmetric Dzyaloshinski-Moriya exchange interaction (the weakly ferromagnetic component of vector D along the tetragonal axis and the helicoidal component distributed in the tetragonal plane) is carried out for the first time for a tetragonal antiferromagnet. The helicoidal component for each pair of interacting spins has a 2D distribution; its direction in the tetragonal plane depends on the direction of the exchange bond in each pair. The Lifshits invariant of the Ginzburg-Landau functional is obtained, which is responsible for the formation of an incommensurate magnetic structure for such a distribution. It is shown in the mean field approximation that the incommensurate magnetic structure that forms in this case is a nonlinear double helicoid with a modulation vector lying in the tetragonal plane and with a varying angle between the polarization planes of quasi-antiferromagnetic sublattices. The ground state of the magnet is degenerate in the orientation of the modulation vector in the tetragonal plane. The rate of variation in the orientations of moments in the polarization planes passing through the tetragonal axis is controlled by the angle between the directions of the moments and the tetragonal axis. The local weakly ferromagnetic moment remaining in the polarization plane varies in magnitude and sign. The relation between the orientations of the modulation and polarization vectors is derived for the cases of simple and inversion tetragonal axes in the space symmetry group of the crystal.
