Аннотация: The present work collates a total of 10787 observations from 191 (mostly floristic) publications plus a few selected private herbaria. Information sources as well as enacted interpretations are carefully documented to simplyfy future revisions. The analysis with respect to spatial distribution (states of Germany), seasonal distribution, and host-parasite association enables the reader to gain new insight into the biology of downy mildews.
