Аннотация: Рассматриваются сигналы глобальных навигационных спутниковых систем и принципы построения современных приемников этих сигналов. Описываются их основные части^ аналоговая с оцифровкой сигналов и цифровые с жесткой и с программированной логикой, в том числе интерфейс между ними. Значительное внимание уделено построению и анализу ошибок двух основных следящих систем навигационных приемников^ фазовой автоподстройки (ФАП) и схемы слежения за задержкой (ССЗ); формированию фазовых и кодовых измерений (псевдофаз и псевдодальностей) обработке Р (Y) сигналов с частично неизвестным модульным кодом; системам передачи корректирующей информации (дифференциальным поправкам). Значительное внимание также уделяется уравнениям наблюдения. которые связывают кодовые и фазовые измерения с вектором состояния, т.е., с минимально необходимым набором параметров, определяющим величины измерений. С разной степенью подробности рассматриваются основные режимы работы навигационных приемников^ абсолютной навигации (stand alone); дифференциальный кодовый (DGPS); дифференциальный фазовый реального времени (RTK); сетевой RTK (с использованием сети базовых станций). Затрагиваются вопросы комплектования радиотехнических и инерциальных измерений, поиска сигналов навигационных спутников, измерения скорости движения навигационного приемника, численные методы расчета межканальных смещений и многолучевых ошибок кодовых и фазовых измерений.

Приводится оригинальная методика сбора материалов математического моделирования лесных биогеоценозов. Значительное внимание уделено плодородию лесных почв и разработке земельного кадастра, выявлению общих закономерностей в строении древостоев, динамике фитомассы насаждений. Аннотация: Tree age distribution determines stand size structure and is related to disturbance history and stand dynamics. Data are presented from 40 pure larch stands from six locations on the Taimyr peninsula and Evenk region in the northern open forests of Russian Siberia. A Weibull density function was used to describe actual age distribution and to simulate age distribution. All stands were found to have a multi-aged structure. The average coefficient of variation for age is about 48%. The range of tree ages exceed 400 years in the oldest forests. The patterns of age distribution change for different age groups. For the youngest stands (40-80 years old) the age distribution was leptocurtic and positively skewed, whereas for middle-aged forests (80-180 years old) it tended to be more mesokurtic and symmetric. In the oldest stands (more than 180 years old) the distribution had a platykurtic form. A high correlation was found between the Weibull function coefficients and the coefficient of age variation and for the mean age. The oldest forests were found in river valleys. Middle-aged forests occur more commonly on middle slopes and the youngest forests occupy top slopes and uplands. A more normal tree age distribution assumes a study area less damaged by forest fires than in the more southern parts of the boreal forest

Аннотация: The paper describes an expert system, which shows the interrelations between the goals for forest management and appropriate technology. It explains by diagrams the structure of the system and its subsystems like rules, rule generator, data basis and its generator, themodule for the acquisition of the indivual goals, the main program for forward search and the facilities to reason about itself. The system was tested with tentative rules and some descriptions for technology in several forest enterprises. It is recognized to be successful to explain the complex valuation of technology. Suggestions are made to develope the system into a management tool

Аннотация: With one exception German thinning rules have always been aimed at selecting individuals of desirable properties and removing one by one their surrounding neibours even if these are just as valuable. In the framework of this approach a symmetrical crown-extension of the prospective crop trees is a major concern. All this amounts to a "spacing thinning". As opposed to selection thinnings which enforce upon heterogeneous stands very schematic ditribution patterns, group thinnings allow for a much more flexible adaptation to the special conditions of each stand when entering thinning age. - Some preparatory comments were made on the question to what extent other tree species and other constellations offer themselves for group thinnings. One can hope that the specialists of growth science and wood technology will now put the assumptions on which selection thinning and group thinning are based to a vigorous test

Аннотация: A brief history is given for a 47-acre woodlot successively high-graded for the best timber, grazed by cattle, cut haphazardly for fuelwood then placed under management with the object of developing a balanced stand structure for the maximum production of wood volume under the selection system. Four stem-distributions are being tested, two levels of growing stock and two upper diameter limits, combined with two cutting cycles. From the analysis of the results the best, or ideal, stand structure will be determined for this area

Аннотация: Data for natural stands of 700, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 and 5000 stem per acre are analyzed to show the influence of changing stand structure on both forest growth and cost harvesting. Inferences are drawn regarding the effect of thinning on stand growth and logging cost. It is noted that silvicultural control can be used only to produce more wood but also to produce a forest which is less costly to harvest.
