Аннотация: Factors determing newsprint consumption in Finland during the period 1960-1986 were analyzed. An econometeric recursive multi-equation model desribing the structure of the newspaper industry was formulated and estimated to obtain information on direct factors influencing neasprint demand. Short-term and long-term demand elesticities for newspaper and newspaper advertising were estimated.
