Аннотация: This investigation deals with the system comprises the whole forest mangement planning process, and its core is the integration of forest inventory, forecast and optimization methods. It has been in practical use for about decade, and has had quite an effect on Swedish forestry. We continue to develop the system in response to future experiences and needs; emphasis is put on operational plalnning and on widening the scope of the objective function to include amenity services.
