Аннотация: This study examined the effects of repeated fertilization that was begun at the early stage of the stand on the branchiness and woody quality of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) stands aged about 50 years. Experimental plots were fertilized with nitrogen, phosphorus and limestone when the experiments were established. The nitrogen fertilizatiopn was repeated from two to seven times and other fertilizations once. The cumulative amount of applied nitrogen ranged from 354 to 1008 kg N/ha.
