Аннотация: The cyclical fluctuations of Finnish coniferous sawnwood exports are examined using the cyclical indicator method. Leading indicators of sawnwood exports are combined into forecasting models of sawnwood export using different statistical and judgemental weighting methods. Quarterly time-series data on Finnish coniferous sawnwood exports, and activity indicators for the economy as a whole and the construction industry in West-European importing countries covered the period 1960-1989.
