Аннотация: The formation and development of the field vole population were followed on four sample plots, one of which was treated completely with a chemical herbicide and two only partly. The changes occurring in the vegetation were analysed, and the change in the availability of the food plants most favoured by voles calculated.

Аннотация: In this study, problems of growing and plant protection with regard to triticale are approached and discussed. The main part of this work deals with the parameters influencing the plant protection and its problems. Initially the abiotic influence factors such as pH-value of the soil, winter hardness, exceptional weather factors, stability and danger of outgrowth and herbicide susceptibility are described and possible solutions for risk reduction are demonstrated.
