Аннотация: Every botanist is aware if the great progress achieved in the fields of biochemistry and plant physiology using radioactive isotopes with their easily and sensitively detectable radiation. The most striking example is the exploration of the carbon pathway in photosynthesis. Besides these radioactive, instable isotopes, stable isotopes have also gained increased interest in biochemistry, plant physiology and ecology. They are hydrogen, sulfur, carbon and others.
