Аннотация: В монографии приведено комплексное исследование специфических и общеинформационных проблем измерения многомерных сигналов (полей). Разработаны вопросы теории и методы оптимизации многомерных информационно-измерительных систем (МИИС). Исследуются модели многомерных источников информации, модели и характеристики специфических помех. Предложены критерии оптимальности МИИС на базе введенной меры функциональной сложности. Рассмотрены методы повышения помехоустойчивости и эффективности систем отбора, передачи, обработки и представления многоразмерной информации. Аннотация: Л.Н.Мезенцевым на законе Кулона, и системного анализа исследованы физические явления в прямоугольном интерферометре А.А.Майкельсона. Показана неприемлемость теории эксперимента и непригодность этого аппарата для измерения скорости Земли, невозможность использования экспериментов, проведенных на нем, для создания специальной теории относительности, неприемлемость этой теории и общей теории относительности в естествознании. Описаны конфликты ученых по поводу этих теорий, которые продолжаются по настоящее время, участие в них на стороне идеализма КПСС, Минобрнауки и РАН, пагубные последствия теорий, в том числе и трагические. Представлены соображения по устранению последствий. Для научных работников, инженеров, преподавателей, студентов и всех, кто интересуется затронутой проблемой.

Аннотация: An attempt was made to raise the level of objectivity of bioindicato used to assess the quality of pine tree stands and environment. The bioindicators employed were: (1) the biometric characteristics of dominant trees (pine), (2) the developmental features of pine (vitality, self-sowing), and (3) pine ectomycorrhizae. To show the extent of threat from the pollution load, an analysis was carried out of the air monitoring data of the Forest Research Institute, considered to be the most systematic, complete and comprehensive (testing the biggest number of parameters). The general level of air pollution in the Wielkopolska National Park was established, and a comparison was made between the state of the abiotic environments of the WNP and other national parks and neighbouring forest inspectorates. Using a measuring tool known as an AS-1 conditiometer, an in vivo definition of intra-tissue changes was attempted. The fluorine deposit in the soil and plant tissues was assessed using standard chemical analyses. Studies were conducted in old-aged stands of pine in fresh coniferous forest habitats on four 1-ha observation plots delineated within the WNP boundaries as defined in 1957, and varying in their exposure to threat (3rd - 1st danger zones).

Аннотация: This book gives a final eveluation of a multidisciplinary study on air pollution at a Norway spruce stand in North Germany and on the interactions of atmospheric constituents with the forest ecosystem. Some of the special features of this research work are the application of advanced trace analysis thechniques, the use of improved methods for quantifying extensively the dry deposition, the determination of element and gas fluxes including their balances as well as the assessment of the responses of the forest ecosystem. Comprehensive data are presented on the nutrient and carbon dioxide budget. Other subjects refer to the seasonal variations and the long-term trends of air pollution.

Аннотация: Basically, a decay process in wood can be described as an aerobic breakdown of wood under the development of CO2 and H2O. Less intense processes, not investigated in this paper, can also take place under anaerobic condidtions. Weight-loss tests are the most common method for measuring the decay. These tests are time consuming and are fraught with various practical difficulties. The purpose of this investigation was to study the CO2 output of decaying wood. A simple method which made very small demands on laboratory equipment was used. The method is compared with weight-loss tests

Аннотация: The paper deals with experiences gained empirically concerning the relationship between the mean value, x, and the standard deviation, s, when measuring seed fall, cone setting, and stocking by means of circular plots in stands of natural regeneration of Scots pine and Norway spruce. On the basis of an average relationship obtained by numerical fitting according to formula, tables have been constructed where approximate values of the number of random samples desirable under various conditions are presented. Formula served as the initial base, i.e. the allotment of sampling units has been done according to the principle of "simple random sample"

Аннотация: The aim of the present work was to investigate the effect of mineral nutrition on frost hardiness. Frost hardiness in Scots pine with different concentrations of mineral nutrients in the needles was determined during winter by different freezing treatments. For the determinations, needles from a fertiliser experiment in central Sweden were used. The main effect of fertilisation on nutrient concentrations in the needle was on nitrogen, which showed a marked responce to treatment. Frost hardiness determinations were made by measuring the leakage of electrolytes from the needles. With freezing treatmen ts that caused heavy damage, there was a maximum hardiness at nitrogen concentrations of between 1.3 to 1.8 % dw, whilst with moderate damage, no such maximum could be detected. In this case, a tendency towards decreasing hardiness with incresing nitrogen concentration was observed.

Аннотация: The present paper deals with the effects of clearcutting on soil and air temperature and the development of temperature conditions during 12 growing seasons following clearcutting. The temperature measurements were carried out by means of thermographs, Grant measuring devices and minimum and maximum glass thermometers. The differences between the temperatures in the clearcutting area and uncut forests did not diminish to any significant extent during 12 years despite the stocking of the former area with seedlings.
