Аннотация: The aim of this research work are as follows: 1. To study the factors unfluencing the revenues and costs involved in sawing timber. 2. To determine the revenues and costs in connection with log size (top diameter) and to calculate diameter-related financial results in the production of sawn goods. 3. To study the significance of the various revenues and costs from the point of view of the financial result of sawing timber. 4. To clarify the role of other major factors in the formation of revenues and costs and thereby of the financial result achievable in sawing timber.
