Аннотация: The economic possibilities of the forest wealth of Siberia are exceeded only by those of its agricultural and mineral resources. When conditions there are stabilized and more adeguate transportation facilities are made available, practically untouched forests may become a promosing field for commercial activity, not only for logging but also for the establishment of numerous industrial enterprises which use wood as their raw material - sawmills and other woodworking plants, pulp and paper mills, and wood distilleries for the production of alcohol, terpentine, etc.
