Аннотация: Radial growth in the root is the result of the interactions of stem- and root-produced factors which are partly affected by the nature of the environment. Thus the distribution, timing and anatomy of radial growth in any part of the root system are affected by the growth conditions of the stem, the location of the root or root part with respect to the stem, the growth activity of the root tips, and local or overrall environmental conditions
