Аннотация: The Forestry Section of the International Training Centre for Aerial Survey made investigations on the coast and the accuracy of two methods for volume determination of standing timber on aerial photographs in the Netherlands. A double sampling method-with which estimations of the volumes are made by comparison with standard stereograms and of which the results are statistically controlled, seems very promising both with respect to cost and accuracy.

Аннотация: The Forestry Section of the International Training Centre for Aerial Survey made investigations on the coast and the accuracy of two methods for volume determination of standing timber on aerial photographs in the Netherlands.
