Аннотация: The discovery of transiting 'super-Earths' with inflated radii and known masses, such as Kepler-11b-f, GJ 1214b and 55 Cnc e, indicates that these exoplanets did not lose their nebula-captured hydrogen-rich, degassed or impact-delivered protoatmospheres by atmospheric escape processes. Because hydrodynamic blow-off of atmospheric hydrogen atoms is the most efficient atmospheric escape process we apply a time-dependent numerical algorithm which is able to solve the system of 1D fluid equations for mass, momentum and energy conservation to investigate the criteria under which 'super-Earths' with hydrogen-dominated upper atmospheres can experience hydrodynamic expansion by heating of the stellar soft X-rays and extreme ultraviolet (XUV) radiation and thermal escape via blow-off. Depending on orbit location, XUV flux, heating efficiency and the planet's mean density our results indicate that the upper atmospheres of all 'super-Earths' can expand to large distances, so that except for Kepler-11c all of them experience atmospheric mass-loss due to Roche lobe overflow. The atmospheric mass loss of the studied 'super-Earths' is one to two orders of magnitude lower compared to that of 'hot Jupiters' such as HD 209458b, so that one can expect that these exoplanets cannot lose their hydrogen envelopes during their remaining lifetimes.

Аннотация: We discuss the temporal variations and frequency distributions of solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field parameters during the solar minimum of 2007-2009 from measurements returned by the IMPACT and PLASTIC instruments on STEREO-A. We find that the density and total field strength were significantly weaker than in the previous minimum. The Alfv,n Mach number was higher than typical. This reflects the weakness of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) forces, and has a direct effect on the solar wind-magnetosphere interactions. We then discuss two major aspects that this weak solar activity had on the magnetosphere, using data from Wind and ground-based observations: i) the dayside contribution to the cross-polar cap potential (CPCP), and ii) the shapes of the magnetopause and bow shock. For i) we find a low interplanetary electric field of 1.3 +/- 0.9 mV m(-1) and a CPCP of 37.3 +/- 20.2 kV. The auroral activity is closely correlated to the prevalent stream-stream interactions. We suggest that the Alfven wave trains in the fast streams and Kelvin-Helmholtz instability were the predominant agents mediating the transfer of solar wind momentum and energy to the magnetosphere during this three-year period. For ii) we determine 328 magnetopause and 271 bow shock crossings made by Geotail, Cluster 1, and the THEMIS B and C spacecraft during a three-month interval when the daily averages of the magnetic and kinetic energy densities attained their lowest value during the three years under survey. We use the same numerical approach as in Fairfield's (J. Geophys. Res. 76, 7600, 1971) empirical model and compare our findings with three magnetopause models. The stand-off distance of the subsolar magnetopause and bow shock were 11.8 R-E and 14.35 R-E, respectively. When comparing with Fairfield's (1971) classic result, we find that the subsolar magnetosheath is thinner by similar to 1 R-E. This is mainly due to the low dynamic pressure which results in a sunward shift of the magnetopause. The magnetopause is more flared than in Fairfield's model. By contrast the bow shock is less flared, and the latter is the result of weaker MHD forces.

Аннотация: The problem of ionisation of atomic sodium in the field of resonance laser radiation is numerically solved taking radiative transfer into account. Seed electrons are produced due to the mechanism of associative ionisation, then they gain energy in superelastic processes (collisions of the second kind) and initiate the avalanche ionisation of the medium by electron impact. We studied the effect of secondary radiation on the laser pulse propagation upon competition between the ionising and quenching electron collisions with excited atoms, on the kinetics of ionisation-induced vapour bleaching, and the plasma channel expansion in the form of a halo.

Аннотация: We report on a numerical study of the mixing of two miscible fluids in gravitationally stable configuration. In the absence of external forces the diffusion process leads to the mixing of species. The aim of this study is to analyze the physical mechanism by which vibrations affect the mixing characteristic of two stratified miscible fluids. The translational periodic vibrations of a rigid cell filled with different mixtures of water-isopropanol are imposed. The vibrations with a constant frequency and amplitude are directed along the interface. In absence of gravity vibration-induced mass transport is incomparably faster than in diffusion regime. Our results highlight the strong interplay between gravity and vibrational impact, the relative weight of each effect is determined by ratio vibrational and classical Rayleigh numbers. Аннотация: In this paper, the solar wind flow around Venus is modeled as a nondissipative fluid which obeys the ideal magnetohydrodynamic equations extended for mass loading processes. The mass loading parameter is calculated for four different cases, corresponding to solar minimum and maximum XUV flux and to nominal and low solar wind velocity. We get smooth profiles of the field and plasma parameters in the magnetosheath. Based on the results of this flow model, we investigate the occurrence of the Kelvin-Helmholtz (K-H) instability at the equatorial flanks of the ionopause of Venus. By comparing the instability growth time with the propagation time of the K-H wave, we find that the K-H instability can evolve at the ionopause for all four solar wind conditions. Аннотация: This article proposes a short review of our present knowledge of solar system magnetospheres, with the purpose of placing the study of Saturn's inagnetosphere in the context of a comparative approach. We describe the diversity of solar system magnetospheres and the underlying causes of this diversity: nature and magnetization state of the planetary obstacle, presence or not of a dense atmosphere, rotation state of the planet, existence of a system of satellites, rings and neutral gas populations in orbit around the planet. We follow the "russian doll" hierarchy of solar system magnetospheres to briefly describe the different objects of this family: the heliosphere, which is the Sun's magnetosphere; the "elementary" magnetospheres of the inner planets, Earth and Mercury; the "complex" magnetospheres of the giant planets, dominated by planetary rotation and the presence of interacting objects within their magnetospheric cavities, some of which, like Ganymede, to or Titan, produce small intrinsic or induced magnetospheres inside the large one. We finally describe the main original features of Saturn's magnetosphere as we see them after the Voyager fly-bys and before the arrival of Cassini at Saturn, and list some of the key questions which Cassini will have to address during its four-year orbital tour.

Аннотация: Atmospheric escape from the upper atmosphere of Venus is mainly influenced by the loss of hydrogen and oxygen caused by the interaction of solar radiation and particle flux with the unprotected planetary environment. Because one main aim of the ASPERA-4 particle/plasma and VEX-MAG magnetic field experiments on board of ESA's forthcoming Venus Express mission is the investigation of atmospheric erosion processes from the planet's ionosphere-exosphere environment, we study the total loss of hydrogen and oxygen and identified the efficiency of several escape mechanisms involved. For the estimation of pick up loss rates we use a gas dynamic test particle model and obtained average loss rates for H+, and O+ pick up ions of about 1 x 10(25) s(-1) and about 1.6 x 10(25) s(-1), respectively. Further, we estimate ion loss rates due to detached plasma clouds, which were observed by the pioneer Venus orbiter and may be triggered by the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability of about 0.5-1 x 10(25) s(-1). Thermal atmospheric escape processes and atmospheric loss by photo-chemically produced oxygen atoms yield negligible loss rates. Sputtering by incident pick up O+ ions give O atom loss rates in the order of about 6 x 10(24) s(-1). On the other hand, photo-chemically produced hot hydrogen atoms are a very efficient loss mechanism for hydrogen on Venus with a global average total loss rate of about 3.8 x 10(25) s(-1), which is in agreement with Donahue and Hartle [1992. Solar cycle variations in H+ and D+ densities in the Venus ionosphere: implications for escape. Geophys. Res. Lett. 12, 2449-2452] and of the same order but less than the estimated H+ ion outflow on the Venus nightside of about 7.0 x 10(25) s(-1) due to acceleration by an outward electric polarization force related to ionospheric holes by Hartle and Grebowsky [1993. Light ion flow in the nightside ionosphere of Venus. J. Geophys. Res. 98, 7437-7445]. Our study indicates that on Venus, due to its larger mass and size compared to Mars, the most relevant atmospheric escape processes of oxygen involve ions and are caused by the interaction with the solar wind. The obtained results indicate that the ratio between H/O escape to space from the Venusian upper atmosphere is about 4, and is in a much better agreement with the stoichiometrically H/O escape ratio of 2:1, which is not the case on Mars. However, a detailed analysis of the outflow of ions from the Venus upper atmosphere by the ASPERA-4 and VEX-MAG instruments aboard Venus Express will lead to more accurate atmospheric loss estimations and a better understanding of the planet's water inventory. Аннотация: A quantitative division of the ionosphere into dynamo and motor regions is performed on the base of empirical models of space distributions of ionospheric parameters. Pedersen and Hall conductivities are modified to represent an impact of acceleration of the medium because of Ampere's force. It is shown that the currents in the F(2) layer are greatly reduced for processes of a few hours duration. This reduction is in particular important for the night-side low-latitude ionosphere. The International Reference Ionosphere model is used to analyze the effect quantitatively. This model gives a second high conducting layer in the night-side low-latitude ionosphere that reduces the electric field and equatorial electrojets, but intensifies night-side currents during the short-term events. These currents occupy regions which are much wider than those of equatorial electrojets. It is demonstrated that the parameter sigma(d)=sigma(P)+sigma(H)Sigma(H)/Sigma(P) that involves the integral Pedersen and Hall conductances Sigma(P), Sigma(H) ought to be used instead of the local Cowling conductivity sigma C in calculations of the electric current density in the equatorial ionosphere. We may note that Gurevich et al. (1976) derived a parameter similar to sigma(d) for more general conditions as those which we discuss in this paper; a more detailed description of this point is given in Sect. 6. Both, sigma(d) and sigma(C), appear when a magnetic field line is near a nonconducting domain which means zero current through the boundary of this domain. The main difference between sigma(d) and sigma(C) is that sigma d definition includes the possibility for the electric current to flow along a magnetic field line in order to close all currents which go to this line from neighboring ones. The local Cowling conductivity sigma(C) corresponds to the current closure at each point of a magnetic field line. It is adequate only for a magnetic field line with constant local conductivity at the whole line when field-aligned currents do not exist because of symmetry, but sigma(C)=sigma(d) in this case. So, there is no reason to use the local Cowling conductivity while the Cowling conductance Sigma(C)=Sigma(P)+Sigma(2)(H)/Sigma(P) is a useful and well defined parameter.

Аннотация: The paper shows the efficiency of an application of the vegetation index image time series to determine long-term vegetation dynamics. The influence of large industrial centers of Siberia on the near-by vegetation is demonstrated. The analysis of the data shows that the influence of industrial waste is stronger in the Siberian North. These regions are characterized by critical conditions for vegetation existence. In the south of the Krasnoyarsk region, human impact is also important, but the possibility of vegetation self-rehabilitation is higher. The present-day economic situation in Russia is unique, with a temporary abrupt fall of industrial production and its following increase. Thus, we managed to analyze the degree of human impact on the environment within a relatively short-time interval. (C) 2007 Published by Elsevier Ltd on behalf of COSPAR.

    Impact induced surface heating by planetesimals on early Mars

Аннотация: Aims. We investigate the influence of impacts of large planetesimals and small planetary embryos on the early Martian surface on the hydrodynamic escape of an early steam atmosphere that is exposed to the high soft X-ray and extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) flux of the young Sun. Methods. Impact statistics in terms of number, masses, velocities, and angles of asteroid impacts onto early Mars are determined via n-body integrations. Based on these statistics, smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations result in estimates of energy transfer into the planetary surface material and the resulting surface heating. For the estimation of the atmospheric escape rates we applied a soft X-ray and EUV absorption model and a 1D upper atmosphere hydrodynamic model to a magma ocean-related catastrophically outgassed steam atmosphere with surface pressure values of 52 bar H2O and 11 bar CO2. Results. The estimated impact rates and energy deposition onto an early Martian surface can account for substantial heating. The energy influx and conversion rate into internal energy is probably sufficient to keep a shallow magma ocean liquid for an extended period of time. Higher surface temperatures keep the outgassed steam atmosphere longer in vapor form and therefore enhance its escape to space within ?0.6 Myr after its formation.

Аннотация: The work presents long-standing CZCS-satellite-based data about spatial distribution of anomalies in chlorophyll concentration and temperature of the ocean. An anomaly criterion is proposed. Maps of Atlantic ocean areas with elevated probability of anomalies are given. Properties of anomalous zones in different parts of the Atlantic ocean are discussed. Satellite-based maps of anomaly coefficients for chlorophyll concentration and temperature in the Atlantic ocean have been shown to feature substantial differences, the zones of elevated anomaly of chlorophyll concentration and temperature - to be close only in the vicinity of the Amazon outflow into the Atlantic ocean. Along with fundamental knowledge about dynamics of biological phenomena in the ocean the methods described may be used to reveal deviations due to anthropogenic impact. The methods presented may be used to process SeaWiFS prograna data. The data derived may be used to analyze long-standing time series to estimate randomness of cunent changes. В©2002 COSPAR. Аннотация: Deep insight into types of vegetation variability provided by AVHRR space scanner images of vegetation index spatial distribution helps reveal impact of land surface changes on environment. The Institute of Computational Modeling SB RAS has developed nonparametric algorithms of automatic to classify and recognize patterns of these images which helped to reveal: (1) major variability types (generally connected); (2) areas belonging to small classes, which can be used to reveal deviations from 'normal' (e.g., forest fires, etc.); (3) deviation from a certain type of dynamics indicative of changes in condition of plants, which can be used to diagnose pathology at early stages; (4) impact of economical activities on vegetation in Norilsk area. The authors provide biological interpretation of the satellite data. Computer-animated dynamics and color maps are presented.     Phenomenological modeling ofdeformation of porous and cellular materials taking into account the increase in stiffness because of the collapse of pores

Аннотация: Mathematical model for the description of deformation of a porous material with a random distribution of pores is constructed on the basis of generalized rheological method taking into account the different resistance of a material to tension and compression. Phenomenological parameters of the model are determined by means of the approximate computations for the problem of static loading of a cubic periodicity cell with spherical cavities. Within the framework of this theory the fields of displacements and stresses around expanding cavity of spherical shape in a homogenious space are constructed. It is shown that the porosity does not change at the stage of elastic deformation. When the pressure increases, a zone of plastic compaction is formed in the vicinity of a cavity, and in a part of this zone the collapse of pores takes place. Engineering formulas for calculation of critical pressures of the elastic limit state and the limit state of a medium with open pores, and also the formulas for determining the radiuses of interfaces of zones of plasticity and compaction are obtained. A complex of parallel programs for numerical analysis of the dynamic deformation of porous materials on multiprocessor computer systems is worked out. By means of this complex a series of computations for deformation of the protection elements, made of metal foams, under the action of localizedim pulsive loads was performed. The random nature of distribution of the pores size is taken into account with the help of computer modeling. Computations allow one to estimate plastic dissipative part of the energy of impact.

Аннотация: В работе описана модель динамики одновидового пространственно распределенного сообщества глобально информированных особей. Особи распределены по двум пространственно удаленным стациям. Проводится сравнение динамики численности популяции в зависимости от рефлексивного поведения особей данной популяции. Сравниваются популяция полностью нерефлексирующих особей и популяция, часть особей которой рефлексирует поведение остальной части популяции. Представлены два варианта вычисления численностей в следующем поколении: рефлексирующие и нерефлексирующие особи рассматриваются как один вид и как два подвида. Рефлексирующие и нерефлексирующие особи могут занимать одну из двух стаций и совершать перемещения из стации в стацию. Такие перемещения мы будем называть миграцией. В данной модели предполагается, что особи являются глобально информированными, то есть располагают полной информацией об условиях существования в стациях, численности субпопуляций и о цене перемещения из стации в стацию. Мы рассматриваем модель с оптимизационной миграцией, то есть перемещения особей из стации в стацию являются целенаправленными и совершаются при выполнении условий миграции. Проведены численные эксперименты, которые показали, что рефлексивное поведение для одновидовой популяции не имеет существенного влияния на динамику численности. Если рефлексирующие и нерефлексирующие особи рассматриваются как два отдельных подвида, тогда динамика численности в присутствии рефлексирующих особей отличается от динамики полностью нерефлексирующих особей.
A model of spatially distributed population is provided with global information access of the beings. These latter occupy two stations, and the migration is a transfer from station to station. Dynamics of a population is compared for two cases: reflexive vs. non-reflexive behavioural pattern. In particular, the dynamics of two subpopulations is compared where the former realizes reflexivity, and the latter does not. Two versions of the models are considered: once reflexive and non-reflexive subspecies are stipulate to comprise a population, and another version stipulates that reflexive beings comprise a discrete subspecies. Both reflexive and non-reflexive subspecies may occupy a station and transfer between them. These transfers are called migration. The model implies the global information access, i.e. the beings knows everything towards environmental conditions in both stations, subpopulations abundancies in both stations, and transfer cost. We study an optimal migration where the migration act is targeted; the migration starts if relevant constrains are met. Numerical simulations were carried out to show that reflexivity has no significant impact on the population dynamics. On the contrary, when rfeflexive and non-reflexive subpopulations are considered as two distinct species, the reflexivity affects the dynamics.

Аннотация: Представлены результаты предварительного анализа восприятия сексуальной рекламы женской потребительской аудиторией г. Красноярска на примере печатной рекламы женской парфюмерии. Анализ воздействия эротики в рекламе женской парфюмерии на целевую аудиторию проводился путем опроса и анкетирования респондентов в ответ на предъявление им стимульного материала, разработанного на основе отобранных из массива фотоизображений визуальных образов, представленных в рекламе женской парфюмерии. Стимульный материал представлял собой 20 изображений рекламы женской парфюмерии, выделенных из массива в 1000 фотоизображений путем опроса целевой аудитории. Проведённые исследования и вся совокупность полученных результатов показывает, что уверенно говорить о том, что сексуальная реклама будет иметь абсолютно положительный отклик у потенциального потребителя, нельзя. Использование образа с завуалированной сексуальностью в рекламе товаров, направленной на женскую аудиторию является более выигрышным.
Preliminary results of the perception of women sexy advertising by consumer audience of Krasnoyarsk are presented. We used print advertising of perfumes for women. Analysis of the impact of eroticism in advertising of women’s perfumes was carried out through interviews and survey responding the presentation of specially designed stimulus material, developed on photo images published in specialized women magazines. Stimulus material was provided by 20 images advertising the women’s perfume. The results show that sexual advertisement will always be absolutely effective is not guaranteed. Images caring the indirect sexuality in advertising of some products are more effective.

Аннотация: Цель исследования. Определение перспектив использования функционализированных ДНК-аптамерами магнитных никелевых нанодисков с золотым покрытием для адресной клеточной хирургии онкологических заболеваний. Матери алы и методы. В качестве модели опухоли была использована асцитная карцинома Эрлиха. Теоретически и экспериментально исследованы структуры магнитного поля пермаллоевых и кобальтовых дисков Au-Fe(20)Ni(80)-Au и Au-Co-Au. Результаты. Выполнены оценки механического воздействия нанодисков на клеточную мембрану в переменном магнитном поле. Определены оптимальные состав, геометрия и структура остаточной намагниченности нанодисков. Экспериментально in vitro и in vivo для асцитной карциномы Эрлиха показана возможность использования функционализированных ДНК-аптамерами трехслойных Au-Ni-Au нанодисков с дипольной структурой остаточной намагниченности для адресного разрушения клеток-мишеней. 3аключе-ие. На основании теоретических расчетов и экспериментальных данных сделано заключение о том, что нанодиски Au-Ni-Au, обладающие магнитными свойствами, могут быть использованы для разработки новых методов и препаратов для малоинвазивной клеточной нанохирургии, которая позволяет адресно и дозировано уничтожать только клетки опухоли, в том числе, и метастазы.
The aim of the research. Determination of the prospects of application the functionalized by DNA-aptamers magnetic nickel nanodiscs with gold coating for targeted cell cancer surgery. Materials and methods. As tumor model was used Ehrlich ascites carcinoma. Theoretically and experimentally were investigated the structures of the magnetic field of permalloy and cobalt disks Au-Fe (20) Ni (80) -Au and Au-Co-Au. Results. It were executed the estimation of the mechanical impact of nanodiscs to the cell membrane in an alternating magnetic field. It was determined the optimum composition, geometry and structure of the residual magnetization of nanodiscs. Experimentally in vitro and in vivo for Ehrlich ascites carcinoma was showed the use of functionalized DNA-aptamers three layer Au-Ni-Au nanodisks with dipole structure of the residual magnetization for address destruction of the target cells. Conclusion. On the basis of theoretical calculations and experimental data, it was concluded that nanodiscs Au-Ni-Au, with magnetic properties, can be used to develop new methods and products for minimally invasive cellular nanosurgery that allows targeted and dosed destroy only tumor cells, including metastasis.

Аннотация: An algorithm is developed to determine coefficients of the stability polynomials such that the explicit Runge-Kutta methods have a predetermined shape and size of the stability region. Inequalities for accuracy and stability control are obtained. The impact of the stability control on efficiency of explicit methods to solving stiff problems is shown. Numerical calculations confirm that the three-step method of the first order with extended stability region is more efficient than the traditional three-stage method of the third order. © Siberian Federal University.
