    Numerical operations for histogram arithmetic and their applications

Аннотация: Main principles of numerical arithmetical operations on histograms of random values are considered. A set of operations is defined including summing, subtracting, multiplication, division, rising to an integer power, maximum, and minimum. It is stated that this set is sufficient to calculate any function of an independent random value. A PASCAL program package is introduced implementing histogram arithmetic. Several applications of the package are mentioned.

    Impact induced surface heating by planetesimals on early Mars

Аннотация: Aims. We investigate the influence of impacts of large planetesimals and small planetary embryos on the early Martian surface on the hydrodynamic escape of an early steam atmosphere that is exposed to the high soft X-ray and extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) flux of the young Sun. Methods. Impact statistics in terms of number, masses, velocities, and angles of asteroid impacts onto early Mars are determined via n-body integrations. Based on these statistics, smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations result in estimates of energy transfer into the planetary surface material and the resulting surface heating. For the estimation of the atmospheric escape rates we applied a soft X-ray and EUV absorption model and a 1D upper atmosphere hydrodynamic model to a magma ocean-related catastrophically outgassed steam atmosphere with surface pressure values of 52 bar H2O and 11 bar CO2. Results. The estimated impact rates and energy deposition onto an early Martian surface can account for substantial heating. The energy influx and conversion rate into internal energy is probably sufficient to keep a shallow magma ocean liquid for an extended period of time. Higher surface temperatures keep the outgassed steam atmosphere longer in vapor form and therefore enhance its escape to space within ?0.6 Myr after its formation.

Аннотация: In this work, we treat spin-selective recombination of a geminate radical pair (RP) in a spherical "microreactor," i.e., of a RP confined in a micelle, vesicle, or liposome. We consider the microreactor model proposed earlier, in which one of the radicals is located at the center of the micelle and the other one undergoes three-dimensional diffusion inside the micelle. In addition, we suggest a two-dimensional model, in which one of the radicals is located at the "pole" of the sphere, while the other one diffuses on the spherical surface. For this model, we have obtained a general analytical expression for the RP recombination yield in terms of the free Green function of two-dimensional diffusion motion. In turn, this Green function is expressed via the Legendre functions and thus takes account of diffusion over a restricted spherical surface and its curvature. The obtained expression allows one to calculate the RP recombination efficiency at an arbitrary magnetic field strength. We performed a comparison of the two models taking the same geometric parameters (i.e., the microreactor radius and the closest approach distance of the radicals), chemical reactivity, magnetic interactions in the RP and diffusion coefficient. Significant difference between the predictions of the two models is found, which is thus originating solely from the dimensionality effect: for different dimensionality of space, the statistics of diffusional contacts of radicals becomes different altering the reaction yield. We have calculated the magnetic field dependence of the RP reaction yield and chemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization of the reaction products at different sizes of the microreactor, exchange interaction, and spin relaxation rates. Interestingly, due to the intricate interplay of diffusional contacts of reactants and spin dynamics, the dependence of the reaction yield on the microreactor radius is non-monotonous. Our results are of importance for (i) interpreting experimental data for magnetic field effects on RP recombination in confined space and (ii) for describing kinetics of chemical reactions, which occur predominantly on the surfaces of biomembranes, i.e., lipid peroxidation reactions. © 2015 AIP Publishing LLC.

Аннотация: This contribution is devoted to the mathematical theory of elastoplastic and granular solids as well as the quasibrittle fracture of nonlinear cracks. Basic variational and hemivariational inequalities describing nonlinear phenomena due to plasticity, internal friction, interfacial interaction, and alike dissipative physics are outlined from the point of view of nonsmooth and nonconvex optimization. Primary results of the nonlinear theory and its application to solid mechanics are surveyed. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015.

Аннотация: Решается задача обеспечения безопасности корпоративной сети научно-исследовательской организации. Обоснована актуальность поддержки превентивных мер защиты сетевых ресурсов для организаций, выпол- няющих научную поддержку высокотехнологичного производства, проведения космических исследований и соз- дания наукоемкого оборудования, где потеря конфиденциальных данных при несанкционированных внешних воздействиях может привести к существенным последствиям. Для решения задачи предложено проводить анализ аномалий сетевого трафика, которые могут свидетельствовать о возникновении киберугроз. Выполнен обзор существующих методов и программных продуктов, предназначенных для анализа сетевых аномалий. На их основе предложен собственный оригинальный программный инструмент, позволяющий авто- матически выполнять обнаружение аномалий и проводить последующий детальный анализ журналов сетевых служб по выбранным администратором метрикам. Программный инструмент разработан в виде веб-приложения, интегрированного в действующую инфраструктуру корпоративной сети научной организации. Внедрение веб- приложения показало актуальность и востребованность развития системы обнаружения аномалий. Для дальнейшего расширения методов защиты корпоративной сети разработано полнофункциональное программное обеспечение - автономная система анализа журналов, которая выполняет автоматический ана- лиз и агрегацию данных сетевых служб и предоставляет интерактивные средства визуализации результатов. Система имеет удобный графический интерфейс, позволяющий наглядно оценивать статистику обнаружен- ных аномалий. При помощи программного инструмента администратор может выявлять наиболее критич- ные инциденты и пресекать их в дальнейшем, изменяя конфигурацию активных систем защиты. Программное обеспечение содержит инструменты для построения диаграмм, отображающих количество аномалий за периоды времени, их распределение по наблюдаемым сервисам, источникам угроз. Оно показывает данные по активным клиентам, подверженным угрозам, частоту запросов по выбранным протоколам, от- слеживает превышение пороговых значений и пр. Применение разработанного программного обеспечения позволяет выполнять конфигурацию первой линии защиты от сетевых атак, повышает оперативность реагирования и эффективность предотвращения втор- жений за счет выявления пропущенных стандартными средствами защиты инцидентов.
The problem of securing the corporate network of a research organization is being solved. The urgency of support- ing preventive measures for protecting network resources for the organizations performing scientific support of high- tech production, conducting space researches and creating high-tech equipment is grounded, where the loss of confi- dential data with unauthorized external influence can lead to significant consequences. To solve the problem, it is sug- gested to analyze the anomalies of network traffic, which can indicate the occurrence of cyberthreats. The paper reviews the existing methods and software products designed to analyze anomalies. On their basis, we propose our own original software tool that allows automatic detection of anomalies and subsequent detailed analysis of network service logs according to the metrics chosen by the administrator. The software tool is designed as a web application integrated into the existing infrastructure of the corporate network of a scientific organization. The implementation of the web application showed topicality and relevance of the development of an anomaly detection system. To further expand the methods of protecting the corporate network, full-featured software has been developed (Autonomous Log Analysis System) that performs automatic analysis and aggregation of network services data and provides interactive means of visualizing results. The system has a convenient graphical interface that allows you to visually evaluate the statistics of detected anomalies. With the help of a software tool, the administrator can identify the most critical incidents and suppress them in the future, changing the configuration of active protection systems. The software contains tools for constructing diagrams that show the number of anomalies over time periods, their distribution by observable services, sources of threats. It shows data on active clients exposed to threats, frequency of requests for selected protocols, monitors the exceeding of thresholds. The application of the developed software allows the configuration of the first line of protection against network attacks, improves responsiveness and the effectiveness of intrusion prevention by detecting missed by standard means of protection of incidents.

На этой основе разработаны элементы методики для повышения эффективности и ускорения процесса реабилитации.
The possibilities of using robotic mechanotherapy on the Con-trex complex in the rehabilitation treatment of patients after arthroscopic reconstructive operations on the shoulder joint have been studied. The analysis of statistics and modeling of data obtained in the course of experimental studies. On this basis, developed elements of the methodology to improve the efficiency and speed up the rehabilitation process.

Аннотация: From positions of the principles of training selection decomposition and collective estimation the synthesis technique of multilevel nonparametric systems of pattern recognition for the multialternate classification problem is offered. Their application provides high computing performance of information processing of big dimension. Two approaches are considered. Poorly dependent feature sets of the classified objects are in case of the former used. Considering the assumption of independence of feature sets the generalized decisive rule of maximum likelihood is under construction. The basis of the second method is made by a dichotomy method. At each its stage we form the family of the private decision functions corresponding to various feature sets of the classified objects with the subsequent their integration in the non-linear decisive rule by means of methods of nonparametric statistics. At the same time formation of the generalized decision on situation belonging to this or that class is carried out in space of values of private decision functions. The offered technique allows to use technology of parallel calculations.

Аннотация: Siberian silk moth is one of the most dangerous pests of coniferous forests of Krasnoyarsk region, which are the most important natural resource of the region. Climate change is considered to be one of the essential criteria for the growth of the silk moth population. In 2014, there was another outbreak of the number of silk moth in the Yenisei district of Krasnoyarsk region. It is known that the forest area of the Yenisei river left bank is subject to severe damage by the silk moth, and the right bank is characterized by a weak forest damage. The task of this work is to analyze the situation with the heterogeneous lesion of the forest by the Siberian silkworm on both banks of the Yenisei river of the territory under consideration according to most detailed available meteorological data for the period from 2009 to 2018. The results of the study showed that the left bank of the river has an increased surface temperature compared to the right bank by an average of 1-1.5C during the period under review. This effect may be the reason for the spatial distribution of the Siberian silk moth population. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

Аннотация: A fast algorithm is proposed for choosing the blur factors of kernel functions of a non-parametric probability density estimate under conditions of large-scale statistical data. It is shown that the basis of the algorithm is the result of a study of the asymptotic properties of a new kernel probability density estimate.     Dependence Between Histogram Parameters and the Kernel Estimate of a Unimodal Probability Density

Аннотация: The dependence between the sampling interval of the domain of values of a one-dimensional random variable and the blur coefficient of the kernel probability density estimate is determined. The studies used the results of an analysis of the asymptotic properties of a nonparametric estimate of the probability density of the Rosenblatt–Parzen type and its modification. It is shown that the modification of the kernel probability density estimate is a smoothed histogram. The optimal expressions for the kernel function blur coefficient and the length of the sampling interval of the domain of values of a one-dimensional random variable are considered. These parameters are obtained from the condition of minimum mean square deviations of the considered probability density estimates. On this basis, a relationship was established between the studied parameters, which is determined by a constant and depends on the applied kernel function and the volume of the initial statistical data. The values of the detected constant are characterized by the form of the reconstructed probability density and are independent of its parameters. According to the data of computational experiments, formulas are proposed for estimating the analyzed constant by the value of the antikurtosis coefficient for symmetric and asymmetric distribution laws. To estimate the antikurtosis coefficient, we used the initial statistical data in the problem of reconstructing the probability density. The results obtained make it possible to quickly determine the length of the sampling interval from the value of the kernel function blur coefficient, which is relevant when testing hypotheses about the distributions of random variables. The presented conclusions are confirmed by the results of computational experiments. © 2019, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
