Аннотация: This paper presents a generalized technology of extraction of explicit knowledge from data. The main ideas are 1) maximal reduction of network complexity (not only removal of neurons or synapses, but removal all the unnecessary elements and signals and reduction of the complexity of elements), 2) using of adjustable and flexible pruning process (the pruning sequence shouldn't be predetermined - the user should have a possibility to prune network on his own way in order to achieve a desired network structure for the purpose of extraction of rules of desired type and form), and 3) extraction of rules not in predetermined but any desired form. Some considerations and notes about network architecture and training process and applicability of currently developed pruning techniques and rule extraction algorithms are discussed. This technology, being developed by us for more than 10 years, allowed us to create dozens of knowledge-based expert systems.

Аннотация: In this paper an original approach to analytical decision making support based on on-line analytical processing of multidimensional data is suggested. According to Dr. Codd's rules, the effectiveness of data analysis significantly depends on the data accessibility and transparency of an analytical model of domain. The method of constructing a conceptual OLAP-model as an integral analytical model of the domain is proposed. The method is illustrated by the example of the scientific activities domain. The integral analytical model includes all possible combinations of analyzed objects and gives them the opportunity to be manipulated ad-hoc. The suggested method consists in a formal concept analysis of measures and dimensions based on an expert knowledge about the structure of analyzing objects and their comparability. As a result, conceptual OLAP-model is represented as a concept lattice of multidimensional cubes. Concept lattice features allow the decision maker to discover the nonstandard analytical dependencies on the set of all actual measures and dimensions of the scientific activities domain. Conceptual OLAP-model implementation allows user makes better decisions based on on-line analytical processing of the scientific activity indicators. В© 2013 Springer-Verlag.

Аннотация: An approach to efficiency improvement of monitoring of the emergency situations for the Siberian region is suggested in this paper. It is based on integration of data processing and storage technologies: Data Warehouse, OLAP and Expert systems. The data warehouse provides accumulation of data from isolated monitoring services. The OLAP tools allow a user to perform multiaspect monitoring of natural and anthropogenic emergency situations. The expert systems technology enables user to estimate of the emergencies risk based on state indicators. Suggested original methods and tools are embedded in emergency situations monitoring system "Espla-M". The system "Espla-M" is implemented in Ministry of emergency of Siberian Region. В© 2012 MIPRO.

Аннотация: This paper presents an approach of operational control of the state of technosphere and environment objects based on the integration of Data Warehouse, OLAP and Expert systems technologies. Аннотация: This article presents a technique of standardising and coding textual birthplace and occupation strings in the censuses of England and Wales and Scotland, 1851-1911. While the approaches for the two text strings are different, they are both based upon the integration of computer technologies, mathematical methods, and expert knowledge. Both processes are described formally using Structured Analysis and Design Technique methodology. The classification of occupations is defined by two algorithms based on statistical decision theory in order to allocate codes from the original occupation strings. The method of standardising parishes is based on the comparison of original birthplace strings and reference data. © 2015 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.

Аннотация: In this article we present the integration technology of spacecraft onboard systems' simulation models in original infrastructure of simulation modeling based on the international Simulation Model Portability (SMP2) standard. We have described the technological stages of metamodel building to unite onboard systems' models in a one complex solution. This technology allows to build simulation models in terms of the subject area and provides their translation into software components working in accordance with SMP2 standard. Simulation models' realization in infrastructure will make it possible to provide creation of complex solutions and will help accumulation and usage of expert knowledge about spacecraft onboard equipment function.

Аннотация: Предложена технология построения комплексных имитационных моделей, позволяющая объединить модели, построенные по стандарту SMP2 (Simulation model portability), виртуальные приборы и логические модели, методы функционирования которых задаются в базах знаний. Технология основана на формализации моделей, содержащей структурно-параметрическое и функциональное представления. Она позволяет формировать семантические конструкции в терминах предметной области, что обеспечивает удобство построения моделей и наглядность представления моделируемой системы в целом. Технология апробирована в программном обеспечении, предназначенном для имитационного моделирования спутниковых систем.
In the paper the technology for constructing complex simulation models of spacecraft onboard equipment based on the European Space Agency standard - Simulation model portability (SMP2) are proposed. The standard provides the principles of portability and reuse of simulation models. In addition to SMP2-models, virtual instruments and logical models the rules of which are set in knowledge bases are used in the work. The goal of the technology is to ensure the interaction of heterogeneous simulation models, their integration based on the principles of portability and universality of the SMP2 standard. The technology is based on the formalization of models. The model contains structural-parametric and functional description of the elements determining its composition and features, as well as the method of control of transitions between the conditions under modeling. The principles of unification allowing to build a model in the terms of the subject area, with their following translation to the program elements of the model working in accordance with the SMP2 standard are suggested. This approach allows the onboard equipment designer to understand both created by own models, and models created by other specialists, and also to represent the simulated system as a whole. The technology is tested in software designed for simulation of satellite systems. The construction of complex simulation models will make to provide accumulation and usage of expert knowledge about spacecraft onboard equipment functioning.

Аннотация: В настоящее время обработка медицинских изображений является наиболее сложной и развивающейся областью. При этом выявление границ объектов интереса на снимках МРТ является одним из наиболее важных элементов этой области. В настоящей статье предлагается методика обнаружения границ опухоли головного мозга по МРТ пациента. Эта методика включает несколько этапов: во-первых - удаления шума, а затем улучшение медицинского изображения с использованием метода улучшения контрастности (Balance Contrast Enhancement Technique, BCET), во-вторых - сегментация изображения с использованием метода нечеткой кластеризации С-средних (Fuzzy c-Means, FCM), и наконец, в-третьих, применение детектора Кэнни для выявления тонких границ. Для экспериментального исследования использованы изображения, содержащие опухоли головного мозга, которые характеризовались разным особенностями: расположением, типом патологии, формой, размером и плотностью, а также размером площади пораженной ткани около опухолевого пространства. Обнаружение и выделение опухоли на снимках МРТ головного мозга осуществлялось с использованием программного обеспечения MATLAB. Результат исследований экспериментального материала с использованием предлагаемой методики демонстрирует достаточно хорошую устойчивость к шуму. Кроме того, было обнаружено, что повышение точности решения задач геометрического анализа и сегментации, в некоторых случаях опухолевой патологии, на 10-15% лучше, чем соответствующие оценки экспертов.
Medical image processing is the most challenging and emerging field nowadays. Edge detection of MRI images is one of the most important elements of this field. This paper describes the proposed strategy to detect the edges of brain tumor from patient’s MRI scan images of the brain. This method incorporates with some noise removal functions, followed by improvement features and gain better characteristics of medical images for a right diagnosis using BCET. The result of second stage is subjected to image segmentation by using Fuzzy c-Means (FCM) clustering method. Finally, Canny edge detection method is applied to detect the fine edges. For the experimental study we used images containing brain tumors that were characterized by different location, type of pathology, shape, size and density, as well as the size of the area of the affected tissue near the tumor space. Detection and extraction of tumor from MRI scan images of the brain is done by using MATLAB software. The result of studies of the experimental material with usage of the proposed methodology demonstrates some resistivity to a noise. Also, an increase in the accuracy of solving the problems of geometric analysis and segmentation, in some cases of tumor pathology, was found to be up to 10-15% better relative to the corresponding expert estimates.

Аннотация: Structurally complex constructions with high accuracy are considered as hierarchically complex systems. For these systems, the requirements for the manufacture of elements, for the formation of control actions, and for instrumental monitoring of system parameters are formulated. The peculiarities of applying multilevel optimization methods to technical object designs are that multiparametric optimization is necessary at all hierarchical levels. At the same time, rigorous statements and solutions of extremal problems are difficult. The problems of optimization of precision constructions in the literature are considered for an extremely narrow class of technical objects. A practical (numerical) approach to multilevel optimization of structures is proposed. In the framework of this approach, multi-parameter weakly formalizable problems are solved at various hierarchy levels with additional requirements for high accuracy of parameter monitoring. Аннотация: Medical image processing is the most challenging and emerging field nowadays. Edge detection of MRI images is one of the most important elements of this field. This paper describes the proposed strategy to detect the edges of brain tumor from patient's MRI scan images of the brain. This method incorporates with some noise removal functions, followed by improvement features and gain better characteristics of medical images for a right diagnosis using BCET. The result of second stage is subjected to image segmentation by using Fuzzy c-Means (ECM) clustering method. Finally, canny edge detection method is applied to detect the fine edges. For the experimental study we used images containing brain tumors that were characterized by different location, type of pathology, shape, size and density, as well as the size of the area of the affected tissue near the tumor space. Detection and extraction of tumor from MRI scan images of the brain is done by using MATLAB software. The result of studies of the experimental material with usage of the proposed methodology demonstrates some resistivity to a noise. Also, an increase in the accuracy of solving the problems of geometric analysis and segmentation, in some cases of tumor pathology, was found to be up to 10-15% better relative to the corresponding expert estimates.

This paper presents an approach of estimation of the control objects and emergency sources based on the integration of OLAP and Expert systems technologies. OLAP-models for multidimensional analysis of monitoring data and dynamic analysis of principal parameters of control objects are presented. The criteria of emergency risk estimation using expert knowledge about critical levels of danger are suggested. The implementation of proposed solutions in automated systems that provide a comprehensive safeness of Krasnoyarsk region

Аннотация: A situational modeling technology of natural and technogenic emergencies is offered. This technology integrates the calculation methods of emergency assessment, methods of analytical processing and dynamic mapping controlled by the expert system. We developed the system model of information-analytical systems of management support of natural and technogenic safety describing informational resources structure, system functioning at the solution of various modeling problems. For the first time, a generic algorithm for assessing the consequences of dangerous situations is implemented. The features of different calculation methods use for assessing the consequences and dynamics of dangerous situations are shown. The spatial analysis is used for scales assessment, the forecast of events dynamics and formation of the available emergency forces. We use the knowledge base to form the list and priority of accident elimination tasks, protection actions and the resources requirement. The offered technology implements a comprehensive support security control of the territories. As the experience of situational modeling systems operation in the Krasnoyarsk region has shown, to improve the management of emergency response processes, its necessary to solve the problems of maintaining up-to-date operational monitoring data, characteristics of territories, facilities, infrastructure, as well as registers of rescue units, equipment and resources. We justified the need of iterative knowledge bases update of scenarios actions in dangerous situations by analysis of already occurred events. (C) 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
