Аннотация: To preserve and utilize the biosphere it is imperative that we understand the long-term dynamics of the primary production process on our planet. Variability of chlorophyll concentration in the ocean is one of the most important components of this process. However, size and access make its investigation labour-intensive. Dependence of primary production on high variability of hydrophysical phenomena in the ocean (fluctuations of currents, frontal zones, etc.) makes it difficult to locate points to measure chlorophyll concentration dynamics. To locate such quasistationary zones with respect to seasonal dynamics of chlorophyll concentration by satellite data the Institute of Biophysics (Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch) has developed a geoinformation system. II use made it possible to locate such zones over the entire ocean. The work shows zones on the Central and Northern Atlantic. They form the ground to analyse perennial dynamics of chlorophyll concentration. The quasistationary zones are proposed for systematic monitoring of phytopigment concentration by space-borne and marine craft. (C) 1998 COSPAR. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.

Аннотация: To preserve the biosphere and to use it efficiently, it is necessary to gain a deep insight into the dynamics of the primary production process on our planet. Variability of chlorophyll concentration in the ocean is one of the most important components of this process. These investigations are, however, very labor-consuming, because of the difficulties related to the accessibility of the water surface and its large size. In this work long-term changes in chlorophyll concentration in the surface layer of the ocean have been analyzed on the basis of the CZCS data for 7.5 years from 1979 to 1986 and the SeaWiFS data from 1997 to 2004. It has been shown that the average chlorophyll concentration calculated in all investigated areas varies moderately. However, when analyzing spatially local trends, the areas have been detected that have significant rise and fall of chlorophyll concentrations. Some interesting features of the long-term dynamics of chlorophyll concentration have been found. The opposite directions of long-term trends (essential increase or decrease) cannot be explained only by large-scale hydrological phenomena in the ocean (currents, upwellings, etc.). The measured chlorophyll concentration results from the balance between production and destruction processes. Which process dominates is determined by various hydrophysical, hydrobiological, and climatic processes, leading to sharp rises or falls of the concentration. It is important to estimate the scale of the areas in which this or that process dominates. Therefore, the study addresses not only the dynamics of the mean value but also the dynamics of the areas in which the dominance of certain factors has led to a sharp fall or rise in chlorophyll concentration. Thus, the obtained results can be used to estimate long-term changes in the ocean biota. В© 2006 COSPAR.

Аннотация: The new data on anomalies in seasonal dynamics of chlorophyll concentration in the ocean have altered the approach to the analysis of long-term trends of phytopigments in the surface layer of the ocean. Zones have been found in which at various times there was a many-fold increase in chlorophyll concentration versus its usual level. These changes are local in time and space. If anomalies in the long-term tendencies in the change of phytopigment surface distribution in the ocean are ignored in the analysis, the resulting picture will inadequately reflect the real processes. The work presents the results of the analysis of long-term trends of chlorophyll concentration on the basis of the CZCS satellite data in the Atlantic Ocean. The results are given as maps representing different variants of trends. The data obtained can be used to analyze the consequences of long-term changes of climate and changes in the interaction between the atmosphere and the ocean. В©2002 COSPAR. Аннотация: It is found that the nonlinear positive Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) trend of mountain taiga in the south of Krasnoyarsk Krai has been negative since 1999-2000. A comparison with the boreal belt of northern Eurasia showed that, though still nonnegative, the positive trend has distinctly decreased to nearly a plateau. A trend analysis of radiation temperature of the surface revealed that the temperature shows a decreasing trend for the selected region of mountainous taiga and an increasing trend for northern Eurasia. We compared air-temperature data from the Yermakovskoe meteorological station to eliminate a preliminary data-processing error. Regression analysis demonstrated a fairly high degree of correlation. Also, we found a quite high degree of correlation between time series and trends of air temperature and NDVI. Trends in air temperature in northern Eurasia according to NCEP-DOE Reanalysis 2 data also confirm the trend found on the basis of satellite data. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

Аннотация: In this study we used HadCRUT4 monthly mean near surface temperature anomalies for 1950–2014 years in order to investigate properties of recent warming. Our aim was to separate changes produced by short-term natural variations and to look on temporal and spatial dynamics of residual temperature anomalies. For this we subtract linear influence of El Nino Southern Oscillation from each grid box of surface temperature measurements. We found that residual global temperature dynamics looks like staircase function: linear trends for three quasi-stable periods 1950–1987, 1988–1997 and 1998–2014 are near zero and near all warming occurred during two shifts of 1987/1988 and 1997/1998 years. Examples of similar staircase behavior of some climate parameters were found in NCEP/NCAR and NASA MERRA reanalysis data. Staircase signal suggests the existence of some regulation mechanism in climate system. This mechanism should maintain global temperature adjusted for El Nino Southern Oscillation near stable in 1950–1987, 1988–1997 and 1998–2014 periods nevertheless all the time growing forcing due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases. © 2015, Korean Meteorological Society and Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht.

Аннотация: Approaches to the modern geoinformation web-systems development and technological features of software implementation are considered, their development trends are discussed. A brief description of the web 2.0 technologies main components is given, the use of which provides the current level of web mapping. Goals and objectives, the main purpose of the formed region's health management informational support system based on mapping web-interface are formulated. A general characteristic of the created software is given, some aspects of its implementation and program architecture are discussed. A huge legacy of fundamental science, the presence of engineering schools, preserved in many industries allow to develop successfully new innovative trends in the aerospace industry, including JSC Academician M. F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems, in which great importance is attached to the inventive activities of employees, training of engineering specialists.

Аннотация: Regime-shift like structures in decadal climate change have been detected in many studies of temperature and related climatic variables by (Yasunaka and Hanawa 2002; Chavez et al. 2003; Lo and Hsu 2010; Reid and Beaugrand, 2012; Jones , 2012; Reid et al., 2016; Jones and Ricketts, 2017). Much attention has been given to a pause in warming (hiatus) during 1998-2014 (Tollefson 2014). We recently suggested and applied a simple method to adjust HadCRUT4 surface temperature anomalies for ENSO effects (Belolipetsky et al. 2015; Bartsev et al. 2016; Bartsev et al. 2017). After this adjustment for major ENSO and volcanic effects the hiatus is even more pronounced. Moreover, we observed similar quasi-stable periods during 1950-1987 and 1988-1997 and almost all the warming occurred during the ~1987 and ~1997 shifts. It should be mentioned that a similar shift has likely occurred in 2015-2016, but this issue is outside the scope of this short paper. Here we want to demonstrate the reality of the staircase pattern using different measurements and climate parameters. We analyzed several global datasets: HadCRUT v4.5 - land and sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies; ICOADS v2.5 - SST anomalies measured from ships; NCEP OI v2 - SST measured by satellite instruments; UAH MSU v5.6 and RSS MSUv3.3 - two satellite datasets measuring temperature of the lower troposphere (TLT). The ENSO signal was removed by empirical orthogonal functions (EOF) analysis, and gave similar results for all datasets. A similar staircase behavior was found in global NCEP/NCAR reanalyses of 300mb meridional wind and outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) in northern and southern midlatitudes. These many different sources confirm the reality of the regime-shift staircase structure of recent warming, which is masked by short-term ENSO variability and the effects of volcanic eruptions. The warming amplitude of the analysed datasets has not changed significantly after the adjustment, but the shape changed considerably. Adjusted for ENSO temperature dynamics the considered datasets have a striking staircase form: linear trends for three quasi-stable periods 1950-1987, 1988-1997 and 1998-2014 are near zero and nearly all warming occurred during the two shifts of 1987/1988 and 1997/1998 (Fig. 1a, b, c and d). a b с d Fig. 1. Аннотация: The development of an integrated system for the monitoring and control of thermal operation modes of a spacecraft electronic module is being continuing. For physical experiments, a laboratory test bench was created. The test bench simulates the operating conditions for the electronic module close to the on-board spacecraft conditions. In [1], we construct a classifier which reliably determines a stationary operation mode of the simulator. Once an operation mode of the electronic module has been changed, the thermal field changes as well. In this paper we propose the approach to predict the temperature of the steady state for each sensor in a still unstable system. © 2019 Author(s).
