Аннотация:
The monolithic design of a compact bandpass filter X-band is made on the technology of multilayered printed circuit boards. Quarter-wave stripline resonators of the filter have two conductors divided by a layer of prepreg having low parameters that bond together the design. This eliminates the influence of the prepreg on the characteristics of the devices, ensuring good repeatability of filters in mass production. To increase the high-frequency stopband of the filter, one of the conductors of each resonator is cut in half by a transverse slit. The constructive sizes of the device were obtained by parametric synthesis using the electrodynamic analysis of its 3D model. The experimental data of the five-order filter are in good agreement with the electromagnetic simulation of filter of the 3D model. The experimental device has a central frequency of the passband of 10 GHz and a fractional bandwidth of 5.7%, and its dimensions and weight are 18.0 × 5.4 × 2.1 mm3 and 0.5 g. The important advantage of the developed design is the possibility of its installation on the board using the surface mounting method.

Аннотация:
In this paper, we propose a novel method for synthesizing a multibeam metasurface antenna (MSA) for use in a space application - a payload component of a small satellite as part of a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communication constellation. MSA is synthesized using the holographic technique with a divergent phase distribution. Using this method, a low-cost multi-beam Ku-band antenna with seven flattened beams is developed. The results of the numerical simulation and experimental study of the proposed seven-beam MSA were presented. The gain of each beam is about 25 dBi, the aperture efficiency of the MSA is ∼40%. Each individual beam had a separate feed point and its own inclination angle (0°, ±3.5°, ±7°, ±10.5°). This paper shows that the presented MSA is not inferior in its characteristics to similar solutions, but is more compact and lighter, and also allows the formation of complex radiation patterns.

The electrical characteristics including the electrical resistance,
impedance
, I–V characteristics, capacitance, dissipation factor, and thermoelectric power of the Bi2Sn2-хFeхO7 (х = 0.1, 0.2) stannates have been investigated in the temperature range of 100–600 K at frequencies of 102–106 Hz. The paramagnetic contribution of electrons to the dynamic magnetic susceptibility has been established. The conductivity mechanism of the compounds has been found from the I–V characteristics and the change in the carrier sign has been determined from the thermoelectric power. The hysteresis of the I–V curves, charge transfer currents and polarization current have been observed in the Bi2Sn1·8Fe0·2O7 compound. A nonlinear field dependence of the polarization in the orthorhombic phase has been found. The correlation between the obtained characteristics and the phase structure transitions has been established. Two relaxation channels and activation energy have been found using the Debye model. The hysteretic I–V characteristics have been explained using a model of the electronic structure and the dipole and migration polarization.

The effect of an electrode material on electrical properties of a composite material based on super-high-molecular polyethylene (SHMPE) filled with carbon nanotubes has been studied using
impedance
spectroscopy. Using the method of replacing the sample by an equivalent electric circuit, it has been found that, depending on the electrode material, a blocking barrier with high active resistance and a space charge region adjacent to it arise in the interface region. It has been shown that the barrier height is controlled by surface electronic states of SHMPE and weakly depends on the electron work function of metal electrodes (Bardeen barrier). The characteristic times of electrical relaxation characterizing bulk and interface regions of the composite under study have been determined.

The ferroelectric properties of bismuth pyrostannate Bi2(Sn0.85Cr0.15)2O7 in the high-temperature region are established. The linear thermal expansion coefficient, electrical resistance,
impedance
, I−V characteristics, capacitance, loss-angle tangent, charge, and thermopower of the investigated material are measured in the temperature range of 300−700 K at frequencies of 102−106 Hz. Anomalies of the thermal expansion coefficient and hodograph spectrum variation in the region of polymorphic phase transitions are observed. The high resistance and change of the hopping conductivity for the tunnel-emission are found. The hysteresis in the electric field dependence of polarization is established. The change in the thermopower sign with temperature is revealed. The obtained experimental data are explained in the framework of the model of migration polarization by charged chromium ions.

Аннотация:
The electrophysical properties of BeO-based ceramics with introduced micro- and nanoparticles of TiO2 were investigated by
impedance
spectroscopy in the frequency range of 100 Hz – 100 MHz. In order to increase the density and conductivity, the initial ceramic components were sintered at the highest possible temperatures up to 1660°C, followed by annealing in hydrogen at 800°C. In this case, TiO2 was strongly reduced with the formation of lower titanium oxides (Ti3O5) along with metallic titanium. When interacting with hydrogen, TiH2 is formed. For the first time, impurity phases were found in (BeO + TiO2) ceramics, which can significantly alter its bulk and surface properties. The resulting ceramics has a high reach-through conductivity, which increases significantly after an additional thermal annealing in hydrogen. It was established that the activation energy of conductivity does not depend much on the concentration of TiO2 nanoparticles and decreases significantly in the low-temperature region. The method of constructing equivalent electrical circuits was used to simulate the passage of the active and reactive components of the current through the complex internal structure of the ceramics.

Аннотация:
The paper presents the results of experimental measurements of constitutive and electrophysical properties in hydroxylated endohedral metallofullerene with gadolinium sample. We extracted endohedral metallofullerene from carbon condensate, synthesized in high-frequency arc discharge plasma. Later hydroxyl groups were added. Via methods of infrared and x-ray photoelectronic spectroscopy, it was established that the molecules of hydroxylated endohedral metallofullerene have the Gd@C82Ox(OH)y, x + y=(40–42) composition. The method of measuring the electrical
impedance
in the frequency range from 100 Hz to 100 MHz shows that the resulting hydroxylated fullerene is an ion conductor. The measured frequency dependences of the dielectric permittivity and conductivity of hydroxylated fullerene are explained based on the assumption of an inhomogeneous distribution of electric charges in the material volume. Dielectric-hysteresis loops in the frequency range of 25 Hz–1 MHz and temperature range of 80–300 K, and volt-ampere characteristics were measured. The obtained results imply the appearance of residual polarization induced by the electric field in hydroxylated fullerene. However, the constant dipole moment is absent. © 2019

Аннотация:
A new bismuth pyrostannate-based composite Bi2(Sn0.7Fe0.3)2O7-x/Bi2Fe4O9 (BSFO/BFO) has been obtained by the solid-state synthesis. Temperature dependences of the magnetic hysteresis and remanent magnetization and the nonlinear field dependence of the magnetization for the Bi2Fe4O9 antiferromagnet have been established. A temperature of the formation of canted sublattices in the antiferromagnet with the occurrence of a spontaneous moment in mullite has been determined. The mechanism of the electric polarization hysteresis and the temperature dependence of the remanent polarization have been established. It has been shown, that, below the Néel temperature, the dipole polarization is induced by a lone electron pair of bismuth ions. At T > TN, the migration polarization is caused by the charge carrier density at the chemical potential. A significant increase in the remanent magnetization of mullite in the bismuth pyrostannate matrix with oxygen vacancies over a value typical of polycrystalline mullite has been established. Remanent magnetization is explained in terms of ferron model.

An electrically conducting two-component BeO-ceramic with the addition of micro- and nano-crystalline TiO2 powder is prepared that can be used as a material for scattered microwave radiation absorption in high-power electronic devices. The nature of the occurrence of electrical conductivity and absorption of the microwave field in (BeO + TiO2)-ceramics is not completely established.
Impedance
spectroscopy is used for the first time to investigate the electrical and dielectric characteristics of this ceramic in the frequency range from 100 Hz to 100 MHz in relation to presence of micro- and nano-sized TiO2 phase within the BeO ceramic composition. It is established that the static resistance of ceramics with addition of a TiO2 nanopowder is significantly reduced compared with the resistance of original ceramic with TiO2 micropowder. It is shown that real and imaginary components of the dielectric constant of the ceramic studied increase to abnormally large values with a reduction in frequency of the effective electric field, and in the high frequency range f ≥ 108 Hz the process of dielectric relaxation commences leading to an increase in dielectric loss angle. Dielectric properties of ceramic samples are determined under blocking conditions for through conduction. The effect of TiO2 micropowder additions on dielectric polarization processes with frequency increasing up to 12 × 109 Hz is considered.

The behavior of the
impedance
spectra of island permalloy films prepared through vacuum evaporation onto optically polished glass-ceramic substrates has been investigated in the frequency range from 0.0001 to 100 MHz. A resistor-capacitor model of the films has been developed and the model parameters, for which there is a good agreement with experimental data on the frequency dependences of the real and imaginary components of the
impedance
, have been determined. The specific features in the behavior of the electrical and physical characteristics with variations in the thickness of the sample and the gap between the measuring electrodes have been investigated. It has been found that the relative permittivity of the films under investigation reaches values E similar to 10(7)-10(8). The structural relaxation times have been calculated.

The behavior of frequency dependences of the
impedance
of a capacitive measuring cell with a liquid crystal has been investigated in the frequency range from 10−1 to 105 Hz. A method for determining electrophysical characteristics of the liquid crystal in the bulk and at the liquid crystal-metal electrode interface has been proposed and tested for liquid crystals of the alkyl cyanobiphenyl series, which are doped with ionic surfactants. The method is based on the use of an equivalent electrical circuit, which makes it possible to approximate the
impedance
spectra with the required accuracy, and also on the determination of the frequency at the singular point in the
impedance
spectra, at which the reactive component of the electric current flowing through the liquid-crystal cell is negligible compared to the active component.

The effect of a direct-current (dc) electric field on the electrophysical characteristics of nematic liquid crystals of the alkyl cyanobiphenyl series nCB (n = 6-8) and the multicomponent liquid-crystal mixture MB-1, which are doped with ionic surfactants, has been investigated using
impedance
spectroscopy. It has been found that the
impedance
spectra depend substantially on the dc bias voltage applied to the sample. The approximation of the measured spectra with specially developed equivalent circuits of the measuring cell with a sample has made it possible to determine the capacitance of the electric double layer and the electrical conductivity of the samples, as well as the mobility, concentration, and diffusion coefficient of the ions. It has been shown that a region of the space charge is formed in the frequency range f ˂ 100 Hz near the electrodes of the measuring cell with a liquid-crystal sample, which leads to an increase in the active (resistive) and reactive (capacitive) components of the
impedance
.
