Аннотация: Three-layer magnetic film systems Fe/Si/Fe have been studied by the method of magnetic resonance. It is established that the ferromagnetic layer thickness affects the magnitude of the interlayer exchange interaction in this system. A mechanism explaining the observed effect is proposed. Аннотация: In Letter the results of experimental and theoretical investigations of magnetic properties in trilayer Co/Ge/Co films are represented. The temperature dependences of films, being two phases in respect of magnetism, are studied. Experimental results are explained in the frameworks of impurity model, when the hexagonal cobalt grains are considered as quasi-Ising particles distributed chaotically and dissolved within an isotropic matrix of cubic cobalt. The fields of magnetization rise on the T-H plane are determined. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Аннотация: We have investigated the magnetic properties of trilayer films of Co-Ge-Co. At a fixed thickness of germanium of 3.5 mn, the formation and distribution of metastable amorphous and cubic phases depends on the thickness of the ferromagnetic layer. The portion of the stable hexagonal phase is affected, too. Possible mechanisms for forming the observed magnetic structure are discussed.

Аннотация: The results of experimental study of magnetic properties in permalloy/bismuth/permalloy trilayer films synthesized for the first time are presented. Measurements of magnetic field and temperature dependences of magnetization have shown that the interlayer coupling depends on bismuth spacer thickness. The dependence of saturation magnetization of the system on semimetal thickness has been found. Possible mechanisms responsible for the observed features of behavior are discussed. Аннотация: We report our experimental observation of interlayer exchange coupling phenomena in CoO/Cu/Co trilayers with systematic variation of Cu spacer layer thickness as well as temperature. It has been found that there exists a clear indication of nonmonotonically varying oscillatory interlayer exchange coupling. The amplitude of oscillation increases, reaches to the maximum, and decreases with increasing Cu spacer thickness from 1 to 16 atomic layers for all temperature ranges between 70 and 200 K. Аннотация: The interlayer coupling in Co/Ge/Co trilayer films has been experimentally studied by the SQUID magnetometry and electron magnetic resonance. It has been found that the interlayer coupling is temperature-dependent. The values of the exchange constants have been determined.

Аннотация: The dependence of the exchange bias of epitaxial single-crystal Co/Cu/CoO trilayer films on the copper layer thickness and temperature is studied. The exchange bias of the hysteresis loops of the ferromagnetic cobalt layer as a function of the copper layer thickness is found to have a well-pronounced oscillating character. The oscillations manifest themselves over the entire temperature range in which an exchange bias takes place (77-220 K). The complex variation of the oscillation amplitude with the nonmagnetic layer thickness can be explained by the superposition of two interlayer exchange coupling oscillation periods (lambda(1) a parts per thousand 10-11 , lambda(2) a parts per thousand 20 ) having differentamplitudes and temperature dependences.
