Аннотация: Приведены результаты изучения засоренности конечного концентрата Абагурской обогатительной фабрики ОАО “Евразруда”. Установлены достижимые границы разделения по содержанию магнетитового железа для сепараторов ПБМ с магнитными системами из композита Nd-Fe-B. Рекомендовано полностью заменить в магнитных системах сепараторов ПБМ феррит бария на композит неодим-железо-бор.The results of the investigation into the dirtiness of the final concentrates at the Abagurskaya Concentration Plant at the OAO “Evrazruda” have been presented. The achievable limits of the separation according to the magnetite iron content in case of the PBM separator with the magnetic systems from the Nd-Fe-B composite have been established. It has been recommended to fully replace the barium ferrite by the Nd-Fe-B composite in the magnetic systems of the PBM separators.

Аннотация: Čerenkov-type second harmonic generation of femtosecond pulses in random one-dimensional nonlinear photonic crystal of strontium tetraborate is investigated experimentally and theoretically. Sidebands in angular-spectral dependence of generated second harmonic were detected and found to be in perfect agreement with calculations. Spectral maximum of generated radiation experiences deviation from Čerenkov relation due to influence of nonlinear photonic crystal structure. Pulse duration and local spectrum of Čerenkov second harmonic are measured and found to be in fair agreement with each other.

Аннотация: The hypothesis concerning the existence of singular points on the imaginary time axis for a correlation function of a system with the dipole-dipole interaction of nuclear spins of a crystal is verified. Within the framework of the self-consistent fluctuating field theory taking into account the principal corrections related to the correlation of local fields, a result for this coordinate is obtained in terms of the ratios of lattice sums. Experimental values of this coordinate are calculated from the wings of the nuclear magnetic resonance absorption spectrum of a BaF2 crystal for the magnetic field directions along the three crystallographic axes. Good agreement of the theoretical and experimental results justifies this hypothesis. (C) 2003 MAIK "Nauka / Interperiodica".

Аннотация: The lattice vibration spectra, rf permittivity, and dynamic Born charges of disordered PbB(1/2)'B(1/2)'' O(3) (B' = Ga, In, Lu; B '' = Nb, Ta) solid solutions are calculated in terms of the generalized Gordon-Kim model. All the compounds are found to have soft modes related to the center (Gamma(15)) and boundary point R (R(15)) of the Brillouin zone; the frequencies of these modes are close. The ferroelectric phase transition temperatures and the spontaneous polarization in the ferroelectric phase are calculated for the solid solutions using a model Hamiltonian in the local mode approximation and the Monte Carlo method. These temperatures for the tantalum compounds are found to be higher than for the niobium compounds, and temperature t(s) increases with the atomic number of ion B'. A model where the antiferroelectric state is related to the condensation of modes Gamma(15) and R(15) is proposed. It is found that, for all compounds except for PbSc(1/2)Nb(1/2)O(3) and PbSc(1/2)Ta(1/2)O(3), the ferroelectric phase, which is only related to the condensation of mode R(15), and the antiferroelectric phase have similar energies. In PbIn(1/2)Ta(1/2)O(3), the antiferroelectric phase turns out to be energetically favorable.

Аннотация: The dependence of the E(TO) line in Raman spectrum of a BaTiO3 powder on applied uniaxial pressure up to 14 GPa are obtained and the values of residual mechanical stresses are evaluated. The second harmonic generation technique is used to obtain the width and temperature of the cubic-to-tetragonal phase transition in the powder treated by uniaxial pressures. The interrelations between the phase transition width, temperatures, and residual mechanical stresses are established. These interrelations differ from expectations based on known hydrostatic pressure-induced effects in BaTiO3.

Аннотация: Efficient tunable femtosecond phase-matched noncollinear second-harmonic generation in randomized nonlinear photonic crystal of strontium tetraborate is obtained. Spatial spectrum of nonlinear photonic structure is not flat but enables tuning of the harmonic frequency in the range from 355 to 460 nm. Аннотация: Magnetoresistance curves R(H) and time relaxation of the residual resistance of bulk YBCO + CuO composites have been studied. These composites represent the network of Josephson junctions, where CuO acts as a barrier between YBCO grains. It has been shown that hysteresis of the R(H) dependences is related to the flux trapping within the YBCO crystallites. This flux induces magnetic field in the intergrain media. Time relaxation of the residual resistance is caused by relaxation of the magnetization of YBCO grains. The time dependence of the residual resistance obeys a logarithmic law, which describes the Anderson-like relaxation processes in the YBCO grains. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Аннотация: The thermal expansion properties of the ceramic compositions Ba1-yLayTi1-y/4O3 (y = 0.0, 0.026, 0.036, 0.054) and Ba1-yBi2y/3Ti1-xZrxO3 (y = 0.10; x = 0.0, 0.04, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15) were determined in the temperature range 120-700 K. We report the temperature- dependent measurements of the strain, thermal expansion coefficient and the magnitude of root mean square polarization. The results obtained are discussed together with the data on the structure and dielectric properties.

Аннотация: The strain, the thermal expansion coefficient, and the permittivity of ceramic samples of (Ba1 - x Bi-2x/3)TiO3 solid solutions with x = 0, 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05 have been studied in the temperature range 120-700 K. Based on an analysis of the results, the temperature-composition phase diagram has been refined, and the temperature dependence of the polarization has been calculated.

Аннотация: In SrxBa1-xNb2O6 crystals (x = 0.33, 0.5, 0.61, and 0.75), temperature dependences of spontaneous polarization, strain, elastic modules, and second harmonic generation (SHG) signal are compared. It is revealed that SHG describes the temperature dependences of dipole moments in polar nanoregions in paraelectric phase. In the vicinity of the phase transition in paraelectric phase, SHG reflects the temperature behavior of relatively large and long-lived polar asymmetric regions as indicated by the presence of the intermediate temperature range on the temperature dependence of this nonlinear response.
