Аннотация: В диапазоне частот 0.0001-100 MHz исследовано поведение спектров импеданса островковых пермаллоевых пленок, полученных вакуумным напылением на оптически полированные подложки из ситалла. Разработана резистивно-емкостная модель пленок и определены ее параметры, для которых наблюдается хорошее согласие с экспериментальными результатами частотных зависимостей действительной и мнимой компонент импеданса. Изучены закономерности в поведении электрофизических характеристик при изменении толщины образцов и величины зазора между измерительными электродами. Определены величины относительной диэлектрической проницаемости исследуемых пленок, достигающие значений varepsilon~ 10˄7-10˄8, и вычислены времена релаксации структуры.

Аннотация: The Zeeman effect in the F-7(6) - D-5(4) absorption band of the Tb3+ ion in the paramagnetic garnets Tb3Ga5O12 and Tb3Al5O12 was Studied. The field dependences of the Zeeman splitting of some absorption lines arc found to exhibit unusual behavior: as the magnetic field increases, the hand splitting decreases rather than increases. Symmetry analysis relates these lines to 4f - 4f electron transitions of the doublet-quasi-doublet or quasi-doublet-doublet type, for which the field dependences of the splitting differ radically from the well-known field dependences of the Zeeman splitting for quasi-doublet-quasi-doublet or quasi-doublet-singlet transitions in a longitudinal magnetic field.

Аннотация: Experimental modeling of the processes of formation of ferric carbonate-silicate melts through the carbonate-oxide-metal interaction is performed in the (Mg,Ca)CO3-SiO2-Al2O3-Fe0 system at 6.3 and 7.5 GPa and within 1150-1650 °C, using a multianvil high-pressure apparatus of “split-sphere” type (BARS). Two parallel reactions run in the subsolidus region (1150-1450 °C): decarbonation, producing pyrope-almandine (Fe# = 0.40-0.75) and CO2 fluid, and redox interaction between carbonate and Fe0, resulting in the crystallization of iron carbide in assemblage with magnesiowustite (Fe# = 0.75-0.85). It is shown that the reduction of carbonate or CO2 fluid by iron carbide and parallel redox interaction of magnesiowustite with CO2 produce graphite in assemblage with Fe3 + -containing magnesiowustite. In the temperature range of 1450-1650 °C, generation of carbonate-silicate melts coexisting with pyrope-almandine, magnesiowustite, magnetite, ferrospinel, and graphite takes place. The composition of the produced melts is as follows: SiO2 - 10-15 wt.%, X(FeO + Fe2O3) = 36-43 wt.%, and Fe3+/XFe - 0.18-0.23. These Fe3 + -enriched carbonate-silicate melts/fluids are saturated with carbon and are the medium of graphite crystallization. Oxide and silicate phases (almandine, ferrospinel, and magnetite) coexisting with graphite are also characterized by high Fe3+/XFe values. It has been established that Fe3 + -enriched carbonate-silicate melts can result from the interaction of Fe0-containing rocks with carbonated rocks. In the reduced mantle (with the presence of iron carbides or oxides), melts of this composition can be the source of carbon and the medium of graphite crystallization at once. After separation and ascent, these ferric carbonate-silicate melts can favor oxidizing metasomatism in the lithospheric mantle.

Аннотация: Tb0.985Ce0.015)3(Al1-xGax)5O12 garnet phosphors (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 1.0) were prepared by calcining their coprecipitated precursors in air at 1500 °C, followed by reduction in hydrogen at 1200 °C. Rietveld refinement of the XRD results suggested that the Ga dopant predominantly resides at the octahedral Al site of the garnet lattice. Ga doping led to linearly expanded lattice constant, cell volume and theoretical density of the garnet compound and successively lower intensity and longer average fluorescence lifetime of the ~ 570 nm emission of Ce3+. Blue shifted emission and 4f(2F5/2)→5d1(E2g) excitation and red shifted 4f(2F5/2)→5d2(E2g) excitation were also observed for the Ce3+ activator at a higher Ga content. The phenomena were interpreted by considering the band structure of the host, distortion of the CeO8 polyhedron, and centroid shift and field splitting of the Ce3+ 5d energy levels.

Аннотация: Composites Y3/4Lu1/4Ba2Cu3O7 + Y3Fe5O12 modeling random network superconductor-ferrimagnetic-superconductor have been prepared and their transport properties (temperature dependences of resistivity rho and critical current density j(c), current-voltage characteristics) have been studied. Below the superconducting transition temperature T-m the rho(T) dependences exhibit a kink at some temperature T-m. The crossover of current-voltage characteristics from ohmic-like behavior in range T-m/T-c to non-linear one below T-m is observed. Transport properties of the 'benchmark' composites Y3/4Lu1/4Ba2Cu3O7 + Y3Al5O12 are typical for network superconductor-insulator-superconductor Josephson junction. The behavior observed for Y3/4Lu1/4Ba2Cu3O7 + Y3Fe5O12 composites is attributed to peculiarities of supercurrent carriers tunnelling through ferrimagnetic barriers. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. Аннотация: Garnet-type compound Ca3Ga2Ge3O12 and Cr3+-doped or Cr3+/Bi3+ codped Ca3Ga2Ge3O12 phosphors were prepared by a solid-state reaction. The crystal structure of Ca3Ga2Ge3O12 host was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and further determined by the Rietveld refinement. Near-infrared (NIR) photoluminescence (PL) and long-lasting phosphorescence (LLP) emission can be observed from the Cr3+-doped Ca3Ga2Ge3O12 sample, and the enhanced NIR PL emission intensity and LLP decay time can be realized in Cr3+/Bi3+ codped samples. The optimum concentration of Cr3+ in Ca3Ga2Ge3O12 phosphor was about 6 mol%, and optimum Bi3+ concentration induced the energy-transfer (ET) process between Bi3+ and Cr3+ ions was about 30 mol%. Under different excitation wavelength from 280 to 453 nm, all the samples exhibit a broadband emission peaking at 739 nm and the intensity of NIR emission increases owing to the ET behavior from Bi3+ to Cr3+ ions. The critical ET distance has been calculated by the concentration-quenching method. The thermally stable luminescence properties were also studied and the introduction of Bi3+ can also improve the thermal stability of the NIR emission.

Аннотация: This paper reports the development of new phosphors using the chemical unit cosubstituting solid solution design strategy. Starting from Lu3Al5O12, the Al3+-Al3+ couple in respective octahedral and tetrahedral coordination was simultaneously substituted by a Mg2+-Si4+ pair forming the Lu3(Al2-xMgx)(Al3-xSix)O12:Ce3+ (x = 0.5-2.0) series; as a result, the CeO8 polyhedrons were compressed and the emission got red-shifted from green to yellow together with the broadening. The evolution of, the unit cell, the local structural geometry as well as the optical properties of Ce3+ in these garnet creations, in response to the gradual Mg-Si substitution for Al-Al, were studied by combined techniques of structural refinement and luminescence measurements. The new composition Lu2.97Ce0.03Mg0.5Al4Si0.5O12 was comprehensively evaluated regarding its potential application in blue LED-driven solid state white lighting: the maximum emission is at 550 nm under ?ex = 450 nm; the internal and external quantum efficiencies can reach 85% and 49%, respectively; a 1-phosphor-converted wLED lamp fabricated using the as-prepared phosphor exhibits the luminous efficacy of 105 lm W-1, the correlated color temperature of 6164 K and the color rendering index (Ra) of 75.6. The new solid solution composition series is open for further optimization to enhance the competence for commercial consideration. © 2016 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Аннотация: The Lu2.98Ce0.01Y0.01Al5O12 and Y2.99Ce0.01Al5O12 phosphors were synthesized by solid state reaction at temperature 1623 K and pressure 1.5 × 107 Pa in (95% N2 + 5% H2) atmosphere. Under the conditions, the compounds crystallize in the form of isolated euhedral partly faceted microcrystals ∼19 μm in size. The crystal structures of the Lu2.98Ce0.01Y0.01Al5O12 and Y2.99Ce0.01Al5O12 garnets have been obtained by Rietveld analysis. The photoluminescence (PL) and X-ray excited luminescence (XL) spectra obtained at room temperature indicate broad asymmetric bands with maxima near 519 and 540 nm for Y2.99Ce0.01Al5O12 and Lu2.98Ce0.01Y0.01Al5O12, respectively. The light source was fabricated using the powder Lu2.98Ce0.01Y0.01Al5O12 phosphor and commercial blue-emitting n-UV LED chips (λex = 450 nm). It is found that the CIE chromaticity coordinates are (x = 0.388, y = 0.563) with the warm white light emission correlated color temperature (CCT) of 6400 K and good luminous efficiency of 110 lm/W. © 2015 American Chemical Society.

Аннотация: High-optical-quality single crystals of the TmAl3(BO3)(4) compound were synthesized from a solution in the melt. The absorption spectra in the sigma and pi polarizations for the H-3(6) - F-3(4), H-3(6) - H-3(5), H-3(6) - H-3(4), H-3(6) - F-3(3), H-3(6) - F-3(2), H-3(6) - (1)G(4), and H-3(6) - D-1(2) transitions in the Tm3+ ion were recorded at room temperature. The transition intensities were analyzed in the framework of the Judd-Ofelt theory generalized to the case of anisotropic crystals, and the following parameters of the theory were obtained: Omega(2) = 6.14 x 10(-20) cm(2), Omega(4) = 3.09 x 10(-20) cm(2), and Omega(6) = 2.04 x 10(-20) cm(2). The lifetimes and the branching ratios were determined for all possible transitions.
