Аннотация: Dynamic susceptibilities (Green's function) in a system of two wave fields of different physical nature connected by the zero-mean random coupling parameter are studied. Magnetoelastic waves in zero-mean magnetostrictive media are considered. It is shown that the Green's functions of the spin G? m(?) and elastic G? u(?) waves at the intersection of the initial dispersion laws have the form of broad single-mode peaks with the fine structure on the tops of these peaks: the narrow resonance on the top of G? m(?) and the narrow antiresonance on the top of G? u(?) For the longwave inhomogeneities the widths of the broad peaks and narrow peaks are determined by the rootmean- square fluctuation and the correlation wave number, respectively. Аннотация: Waves in the superlattice (SL) contained inhomogeneities with anisotropic correlation properties are considered. The anisotropy of the correlations is characterized by the parameter lambda=1-k(perpendicular to)/k(parallel to), where k(parallel to) and k(perpendicular to) are the correlation wave numbers along the axis of the SL and in the plane of its layers, respectively (r(parallel to) = k(parallel to)(-1) and r(perpendicular to) = k(perpendicular to)(-1) are the correlation radii). Dependencies of both the dynamic susceptibility and density of states at the continuous transition from the isotropic three-dimensional inhomogeneities (lambda=0) to the one-dimensional ones (lambda=1) have been obtained.

However, the peaks in this case also become closer, and the width and depth of the gap in the density of states decrease thereby. It is shown that the enhancement of rms fluctuations of 3D amplitude inhomogeneities in a superlattice containing 2D phase inhomogeneities suppresses the effect of dynamic susceptibility asymmetry and leads to a slight broadening of the gap in the density of states and a decrease in its depth. Targeted experiments aimed at detecting the effects studied here would facilitate the development of radio-spectroscopic and optical methods for identifying the presence of inhomogeneities of various dimensions in multilayer magnetic and optical structures. Аннотация: A self-consistent approximation of a higher level than the standard self-consistent approximation, known in various fields of physics as the Migdal, Kraichnan or Born self-consistent approximation, is derived taking into account both the first and second terms of the series for the vertex function. In contrast to the standard approximation, the new self-consistent approximation is described by a system of two coupled nonlinear integral equations for the self-energy and the vertex function. In addition to all the diagrams with non-intersecting lines of correlation/interaction taken into account by the standard self-consistent approximation, the new approach takes into account in each term of the Green's function expansion a significant number of diagrams with intersections of these lines. Because of this, the shape, linewidth, and amplitude of the resonance peaks of the dynamic susceptibility calculated in this approximation are much closer to the exact values of these characteristics. The advantage of the new self-consistent approach is demonstrated by the example of calculation of the dynamic susceptibility of waves in an inhomogeneous medium. © 2016 IOP Publishing Ltd.
