Аннотация: A high-sensitivity magnetometer for simultaneous measurements of three components of a weak quasi-stationary or high-frequency magnetic-field vector was developed and investigated. Microstrip structures that are based on irregular resonators serve as the magnetometer transducers. An anisotropic thin-film magnetic structure is used as the sensing element. This structure consists of two thin magnetic films that are prepared by magnetron sputtering of a Ni75Fe25 permalloy target and separated by a silicon monoxide layer. It is demonstrated that the transducer exhibits the maximum sensitivity, when the easy magnetization axis of the film structure is orthogonal to the polarization direction of the pumping microwave magnetic field in the microstrip resonator and at an optimal value of a constant magnetic bias field and its optimal deflection from the pumping-field polarization direction which is parallel to it. The magnetometer is characterized by a wide dynamic range of measured magnetic fields, 10–10–10–4 Т, and a wide frequency range, 10–1–105 Hz. © 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Inc.

Аннотация: A high-sensitivity magnetometer of weak quasi-stationary magnetic fields is developed and investigated. The magnetometer transducer is a microstrip resonator with an active medium from thin magnetic films prepared by magnetron sputtering of a Ni75Fe25 permalloy target. It is demonstrated that the transducer exhibits the maximum sensitivity not only in the optimal dc magnetic field, but also at the optimal deviation of this field from the rf pump field polarization direction. The magnetometer operates in a wide dynamic range of measured magnetic fields from 10−4 to 10−2 μT at frequencies of 10−1–105 Hz.

Аннотация: This paper considers hardware and software for automated analysis of thin magnetic film ferroresonance spectrum to determine the rate of growth and decrease in ferroresonance spectrum (conversion factor parameter). The measuring element of automated system is the strip line which is short-circuited. The measuring unit is used to study Ni 80 Fe 20 permalloy films, with thickness of more than 300 Å. Conversion factor, magnetic permeability μ, uniaxial magnetic anisotropy, ferromagnetic spectrum resonance line width, saturation magnetization are analyzed from 50 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range. The magnetic films are used to design frequency selective filters, phase shifters and weak-field magnetic sensors. The thin magnetic film sensors are high sensitive magnetometers, with wide frequency range, low dimensions and weight [1]. © 2019 IEEE.

Аннотация: Distribution of the magnetic anisotropy in thin film prepared by thermal vacuum oblique deposition of permalloy with small off-normal angle of incident in the presence of an external magnetic field has been studied by ferromagnetic resonance technique. On local area of the sample, a mutual compensation of near orthogonal in-plane uniaxial magnetic anisotropies induced by oblique deposition and by applied magnetic field has been found. Moreover, in addition to the uniaxial (twofold) magnetic anisotropy, fourfold and sixfold magnetic anisotropies have been observed in the sample. To explain the obtained high-order anisotropies, we assumed that the sample has exchange coupled adjacent regions or phases with different parameters of magnetic anisotropy. The results of the micromagnetic analysis of a two-layer model of the sample confirm the hypothesis. © 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Аннотация: In experiments on single-domain magnetic films with uniaxial in-plane anisotropy, a new homogeneous ferromagnetic resonance peak was observed in a planar magnetic field oriented at an angle to the easy magnetization axis and directed opposite to the magnetization projection onto the field direction. The peak was observed in fields smaller than the magnetization reversal field of the film, and the origin of the peak was found to be related to the metastable state of the magnetic moment. A good agreement was obtained between phenomenological calculations and experimental data. (C) 2002 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".

Аннотация: The distribution of the magnitude and direction of the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy field over the area of permalloy films obtained by thermal evaporation in vacuum was studied using a scanning ferromagnetic resonance spectrometer. The films were deposited on glass substrates subjected to bending stress in the presence of an in-plane static magnetic field. Depending on the character of the elastic-stress distribution over a local spot of a film, the uniaxial anisotropy induced by a magnetic field is either enhanced or completely compensated, which is accompanied by a significant change in the direction of the easy axis of magnetization. The observed effects are in good agreement with phenomenological calculations.

Аннотация: The anisotropic characteristics of an iron silicide (Fe3Si) epitaxial thin magnetic film grown on a Si(111) silicon vicinal surface with a misorientation angle of 0.14° have been measured by the ferromagnetic resonance method. It has been shown that the polar and azimuth misorientation angles of the crystallographic plane of the substrate can be determined simultaneously from the angular dependences of the ferromagnetic resonance field of the epitaxial film. The effective saturation magnetization of the film M eff = 1105 G and the constant of the cubic magnetocrystalline anisotropy K 4 = 1.15 × 105 erg/cm3 have been determined. The misorientation of the substrate plane leads to the formation of steps on the film surface and, as a result, to the appearance of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy of the magnetic dipole nature with the constant K 2 = 796 erg/cm3. Small unidirectional magnetic anisotropy (K 1 = 163 erg/cm3), which may be associated with symmetry breaking on the steps of the film and is due to the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction, has been detected.

Аннотация: Based on the Monte Carlo method, a model of growth of thin films prepared by oblique angle deposition of particles is constructed. The morphology of structures synthesized by simulation is analyzed. To study the character of distribution of microstructural elements (columns) in the film plane, the autocorrelation function of the microstructure and the fast Fourier transform are used. It is shown that with increasing angle of particle incidence, the film density monotonically decreases; in this case, anisotropy arises and monotonically increases in the cross sections of columns, and the anisotropy of distribution of columns in the substrate plane also increases.

Аннотация: The absorption spectrum of a normally magnetized disk of yttrium iron garnet, which is associated with resonances of magnetostatic oscillation modes excited by a homogeneous high-frequency magnetic field, has been investigated using a numerical analysis of the micromagnetic model developed for ferromagnetic objects. The distribution of magnetization oscillation amplitudes over the disk surface area has been obtained for the first four modes. A good agreement between the results of the micromagnetic simulation and the data of analytical calculations for special cases has proved the reliability and efficiency of the proposed approach in numerical experiments on the study of the magnetization dynamics in objects with different geometries and shapes, including multilayer magnetic film structures.

Аннотация: A new approach has been proposed for determining an equilibrium configuration of magnetic moments in condensed matter in terms of its discrete model. The solution to this problem is reduced to a system of linear inhomogeneous equations with undetermined Lagrange multipliers. The possibility of numerically solving these systems has been shown using a modified power method. The efficiency of the method has been demonstrated for the model of a thin magnetic film with a nonuniform distribution of the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy over the area. The dependence of the coercive force on the uniaxial anisotropy of nanocrystallites, their exchange interaction, and other parameters of samples has been investigated.

Аннотация: The magnetic structure of thin nanocrystalline films with a random distribution of magnetization easy axes was studied by means of micromagnetic modeling. The dependences of the correlation function parameters of the non-uniform magnetization on the value of the external in-plane magnetic field were investigated in the wide range (6–1000 nm) of particles sizes. An analysis of the obtained dependences revealed a significant difference between longitudinal (along the field) and transversal (perpendicular to the field) correlation radii of a stochastic magnetic structure. The blocking effect of a fine magnetic structure—a magnetization ripple—was observed during magnetization reversal of the films. © Siberian Federal University. All rights reserved.Методом микромагнитного моделирования проведены исследования магнитной структуры тонких нанокристаллических пленок со случайным распределением осей легкого намагничивания. В широком диапазоне размеров частиц 6 1000 нм исследованы зависимости параметров корреляционной функции неоднородной намагниченности от величины внешнего планарного магнитного поля. Анализ полученных зависимостей показал существенное различие корреляционных радиусов стохастической магнитной структуры вдоль и поперек направления приложенного поля. При перемагничивании тонких пленок наблюдался эффект блокировки тонкой магнитной структуры "ряби намагниченности".

Аннотация: A sharp peak of magnetic susceptibility has been observed in the ferromagnetic resonance spectra of uniaxial magnetic films placed in a planar field directed orthogonal to the easy magnetization axis, along which a pumping high-frequency magnetic field has been oriented. The peak width is considerably narrower than the line width of the uniform ferromagnetic resonance, and its position in a field equal to the film anisotropy field does not depend on the pumping frequency. The nature of the peak is associated with a drastic increase in the static transverse susceptibility of the film in the vicinity of the anisotropy field. It is shown phenomenologically that the peak can be observed only for quality samples with small angular and amplitude dispersion of the uniaxial anisotropy. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".

Аннотация: The paper describes a non-linear power amplifier developed for mobile wideband transceivers of near-field magnetic communication systems. The power amplifier has following parameters: voltage range - up to 200 V; power consumption - up to 200 W; maximum load current - up to 100 A; maximum frequency - 200 kHz; overall dimensions - 100x100x40 mm and weight - ~200 g (without heat sink). Mobile near-field magnetic communication systems equipped with such amplifier are able to provide a voice communication range up to 150 m. The systems can be employed in constructing of various underwater and underground communication networks, for example, in mines or for divers. Results of near-field communication system field testing with the developed non-linear power amplifier are shown. Аннотация: A method for determining magnetic anisotropy parameters of a thin single-crystal film on vicinal (111) substrate as well as substrate miscut angles from angular dependence of ferromagnetic resonance field has been proposed. The method is based on the following: (i) a new approach for the solution of the system of nonlinear equations for equilibrium and resonance conditions; (ii) a new expression of the objective function for the fitting problem. The study of the iron silicide films grown on vicinal Si(111) substrates with different miscut angles confirmed the efficiency of the method. The proposed method can be easily generalized to determine parameters of single-crystal films grown on substrates with an arbitrary cut.
