Аннотация: Time-dependent autocorrelation functions are investigated for the Heisenberg model with spins 1/2 on d-dimensional simple cubic lattices of large dimensions d at infinite temperature. The autocorrelation function on the imaginary time axis is interpreted as the generating function of bond trees constructed with double bonds. These trees provide the leading terms with respect to lid for the time-expansion coefficients of the autocorrelation function. The correction terms from branch intersections to the generating function in the Bethe approximation are derived for these trees. A procedure is suggested for finding the correction to the coordinate of the singular point of the generating function (i.e., to the reciprocal of the branch growth-rate parameter) from the above correction terms without calculating the number of trees. The leading correction terms of order 1/sigma(2) (where sigma = 2d - 1) are found for the coordinates of the singular points of the autocorrelation function in question and for the generating function of the trees constructed with single bonds in the Eden model.

Аннотация: We develop a method for the determination of the dynamics of dissipative quantum systems in the limit of large number of quanta N, based on the 1/N-expansion of Heidmann et al. [Opt. Commun. 54, 189 (1985)] and the quantum-classical correspondence. Using this method, we End analytically the dynamics of nonclassical states generation in the higher-order anharmonic dissipative oscillators for an arbitrary temperature of a reservoir. We show that the quantum correction to the classical motion increases with time quadratically up to some maximal value, which is dependent on the degree of nonlinearity and a damping constant, and then it decreases. Similarities and differences with the corresponding behavior of the quantum corrections to the classical motion in the Hamiltonian chaotic systems are discussed. We also compare our results obtained for some limiting cases with the results obtained by using other semiclassical tools and discuss the conditions for validity of our approach.

Аннотация: We use the Monte Carlo method to compute the number of trees with n edges in the Eden model on d-dimensional simple cubic lattices for d = 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10. We compare these numbers with the exact data derived by the enumeration method up to n = 12 on the square lattice and up to n = 10 on the cubic lattice. We find that for d greater than or equal to 3, the computed values of the growth parameter for trees agree with the values that we derived earlier by the expansion in inverse powers of 2d - 1.

Аннотация: Using the d(-1) expansion method (d is the space dimension), we estimate the coordinate of the time-dependent autocorrelation function singular point on the imaginary time axis for the spin 1/2 Heisenberg model on a simple hypercubic lattice at high temperatures. We represent the coefficients of the time expansion (the spectral moments) for the autocorrelation function as the sums of the weighted lattice figures in which the trees constructed from the double bonds give the leading contributions with respect to d(-1) and the same trees with the built-in squares from six bonds or diagrams with the fourfold bonds give the contribution of the next-to-leading order. We find the corrections to the coordinate of the autocorrelation function singular point that are due to the latter contributions.

Аннотация: We investigate generating functions for equipped trees composed of double bonds of two sorts on a hypercubic lattice of dimension d with built-in fragments. Rules for constructing these clusters are chosen to ensure the estimate for coefficients of power series in time for the longitudinal and transverse autocorrelation functions of the spin system with axially symmetric interaction. We derive a system of two equations for the tree-generating functions and an equation for the generating functions of chains leading from the root to a fragment in a tree using the Bethe approximation and under the condition that mainly bonds of one sort are taken into account. For the face-centered hypercubic lattice, we find the First terms of the 1/d expansion for the coordinate of the singular point of the generating function in both the anisotropic and the isotropic cases taking fragments in the forms of a triangle from four bonds and a four-fold bound pair into account. The obtained result is written in terms of ratios of lattice sums and is generalized to nuclear spin systems with dipole-dipole interaction. The theoretical value of the singular-point coordinate agrees well with the experimental value calculated from the tail of the absorption spectrum of the nuclear magnetic resonance in a barium fluoride monocrystal.

Аннотация: Heat capacity and thermal expansion of the Ba0.92Ca0.08Ti0.76Zr0.24O3 compound is measured using the methods of adiabatic calorimetry and optic-mechanical dilatometry in the temperature range 100-370 K. Three blurred anomalies on the C-p(T) and alpha(T) dependencies are observed in the temperature range 200-360 K. The results of the studies are discussed together with data on the structure and dielectric properties in the framework of spherical random bond-random field model.

Аннотация: In the Eden model, we investigate how the tree growth parameter depends on the space dimension d for face-centered hypercubic lattices. We find the first three terms of the 1/d-expansion for this parameter directly from the generating function without calculating the number of trees because the growth parameter is the reciprocal coordinate of the singular point of the tree generating function. The same growth parameter was calculated by computer experiment where the ratios between the numbers of trees without intersections and trees without restrictions in the dimensions 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 were estimated by the Monte Carlo method on face-centered cubic lattices. The results of the two methods agree well. Comparing with the previously performed computer experiment for simple hypercubic lattices, we observe that the values of the singular exponents for the tree generating functions are close for two different types of lattices.

Аннотация: For Ba0.9Bi0.067(Ti1-xZrx)O-3 (x = 0.04, 0.15) ceramics, the heat capacity C-p(T) and the thermal expansion alpha(T) were measured using an adiabatic calorimeter and an optical-mechanical dilatometer in the temperature range 100-420 K. Both compounds reveal diffuse heat capacity and thermal expansion anomalies: three anomalies in the temperature regions 150-250 K, 250-300 K (alpha(T) only) and 300-400 K at x = 0.04 and two anomalies in the regions 200 250 K and 250-350 K at x = 0.15. The results obtained are discussed together with the data on the dielectric properties.

Аннотация: The thermal expansion properties of the ceramic compositions Ba1-yLayTi1-y/4O3 (y = 0.0, 0.026, 0.036, 0.054) and Ba1-yBi2y/3Ti1-xZrxO3 (y = 0.10; x = 0.0, 0.04, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15) were determined in the temperature range 120-700 K. We report the temperature- dependent measurements of the strain, thermal expansion coefficient and the magnitude of root mean square polarization. The results obtained are discussed together with the data on the structure and dielectric properties.

Аннотация: Deformation and the thermal expansion coefficient of ceramic samples of (Ba1 - x La (x) )Ti1 - x/4O3 solid solutions (x = 0, 0.026, 0.036, 0.054) were studied in the temperature range 120-700 K. Based on an analysis of the data obtained, the temperature-composition phase diagram is refined, and the temperature dependence of the polarization is calculated. The results are discussed in combination with the dielectric measurement data.

Аннотация: The thermal expansion along the principal crystallographic axes of the (NH4)(2)WO2F4 and (NH4)(2)MoO2F4 oxyfluorides has been studied. The anomalous behavior of alpha (i) (T) due to the phase transitions has been revealed at T (1) = 271.4 K and T (2) a parts per thousand 180 K for the molybdate and at T (1) = 201.5 K and T (2) a parts per thousand 161 K for the tungstate. The quantities dT/dp and dT/d sigma (i) , which characterize the dependence of the phase transition temperatures on the hydrostatic and uniaxial pressures, have been determined from analyzing the results of studies of the thermal expansion and heat capacity with the use of the Pippard relations. The p-T and alpha (i) -T phase diagrams reflect different characters of the influence of the pressure on the stability of the initial and distorted phases of the oxyfluorides. The magnitudes of the extensive and intensive barocaloric effects determined in the vicinity of the structural phase transitions are as follows: Delta S (BCE) varies from approximately -10 to -17 J/mol K and Delta T (AD) a parts per thousand 8-17 K for the molybdate and Delta S (BCE) varies from approximately -10 to -17 J/mol K and Delta T (AD) a parts per thousand 8-13 K for the tungstate.

Аннотация: The magnetization of cation-substituted CoxMn(1-x)S sulfides upon cooling in zero magnetic field and in a field in the temperature range 4-300 K has been measured and the resistance versus magnetic field (up to 10 kOe) dependences have been obtained. Magnetoresistance and temperature hysteresis of magnetization versus prehistory are found at the magnetic field H < 0.1 T and at T < 240 K. The interrelation between the magnetic and elastic subsystems of the CoxMn1-xS solid solutions has been established. A jump in the coefficient of thermal expansion is observed at the Neel temperature. The features of the physical properties are explained by orbital ordering. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. Аннотация: The thermal expansion along the a, b and c axes of a (NH4)(2)NbOF5 crystal was measured from 120 to 300 K. Anomalies of alpha(T) associated with previously reported phase transitions Cmc2(1) -> C-2 -> I a were observed along all directions at T-1 = 259.3 K and T-2 = 220.5 K. The analysis of thermal expansion and heat capacity in the frame of the Pippard relations has permitted us to determine the uniaxial pressure derivatives of the transition temperatures dT/d sigma(i). The T-sigma(i) phase diagrams have shown a tendency for the intermediate phase to disappear at high stress along the b and c axes. Intensive and extensive barocaloric effects near the structural phase transitions were found to be comparable with the caloric parameters of some ferroelectrics, ferromagnets and antiferromagnets.

Аннотация: The strain, the thermal expansion coefficient, and the permittivity of ceramic samples of (Ba1 - x Bi-2x/3)TiO3 solid solutions with x = 0, 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05 have been studied in the temperature range 120-700 K. Based on an analysis of the results, the temperature-composition phase diagram has been refined, and the temperature dependence of the polarization has been calculated.
