Аннотация: Efficient tunable femtosecond phase-matched noncollinear second-harmonic generation in randomized nonlinear photonic crystal of strontium tetraborate is obtained. Spatial spectrum of nonlinear photonic structure is not flat but enables tuning of the harmonic frequency in the range from 355 to 460 nm. The narrowing of the bandwidth of second harmonic is found to be of order of 10-20%. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Аннотация: Noncollinear random quasi-phase-matched frequency doubling in nonlinear photonic crystal (NPC) of strontium tetraborate (SBO) can be used for background-free autocorrelation measurements of ultrashort pulses in wide spectral range without any angular tuning of nonlinear photonic crystal. Nonuniformity of reciprocal superlattice vectors spectrum of random structure does not affect the accuracy of measurement. Nonlinear photonic crystals of strontium tetraborate are attractive medium for cross-correlation measurements in deep and vacuum ultraviolet. VC 2011 American Institute of Physics. Аннотация: The energy spectrum of mobile charge carriers in a two-dimensional Antiferromagnet placed in external magnetic field is analyzed. It is shown that allowing for the magnetic sublattice skew the effective mass of mobile charge carriers in a lightly doped Antiferromagnet. This affects substantially the transport and thermodynamic properties of the system. A insulator-semimetal transition is induced with external magnetic field. В© 2013 Allerton Press, Inc.

Аннотация: Исследован энергетический спектр подвижных носителей заряда в двумерном антиферромагнетике, помещенном во внешнее магнитное поле. Показано, что учет скоса магнитных подрешеток модифицирует эффективную массу подвижных носителей заряда слаболегированного антиферромагнетика. Этот факт существенным образом сказывается на транспортных и термодинамических свойствах системы. Обнаружено явление перехода в полуметаллическую фазу под воздействием внешнего магнитного поля.

Аннотация: For the system of strongly correlated electrons on a triangular lattice, the possibility of coexisting superconductivity with the chiral order parameter and the 120°-type noncollinear spin ordering is demonstrated. The integral self-consistency equation for the superconducting order parameter is derived using the diagram technique for Hubbard operators taking into account the spin structure, exchange interaction within two coordination spheres, and intersite Coulomb repulsion. © 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Inc.

Аннотация: Noncollinear second-harmonic generation from two ultrashort pulses intersecting in a nonlinear medium is studied in spectral and time domains. We derive analytical expressions for the second-harmonic (SH) amplitude in crystals of finite thickness neglecting diffraction. The contribution from characteristics of the fundamental radiation and interaction geometry to the process is analyzed. In addition, refined phase-matching conditions are obtained. We find that the spectral bandwidth is determined by the intersection angle and can be enlarged. The SH pulse duration can be optimized by varying the fundamental beam size and the intersection angle. It is found that the SH beam excited by a Gaussian fundamental beam becomes elliptical. It is shown that the fundamental pulse duration can be readily characterized with single pulses by means of measuring the ellipticity of the SH beam profile. The approach developed can potentially be used to calculate parametric interactions of fundamental pulses with an arbitrary spectrum. © 2016 Optical Society of America.

Аннотация: We investigate the effect of the intersite Coulomb interaction in a planar system with the triangular lattice on the structure of chiral order parameter Δ(p) in the phase of coexisting superconductivity and noncollinear 120° magnetic ordering. It has been established that the Coulomb correlations in this phase initiate the state where the quasi-momentum dependence Δ(p) can be presented as a superposition of the chiral invariants corresponding to the dx2−y2+idxy and px + ipy symmetry types. It is demonstrated that the inclusion of the Coulomb interaction shifts the Δ(p) nodal point positions and, thereby, changes the conditions for a quantum topological transition.
