Аннотация: Y2/3 Se1/3Ba2Cu3Ox compound was fabricated by using solid state fabrication technique. Optimum heat treatments conditions for Y0.77Se0.33Ba2Cu3Ox were investigated. It was determined that the XRD results of these samples were similar to Y-123 phase with some impurities. Magnetization dependence of applied magnetic fields was measured in the range of 0-9В T at 10-50В K. The symmetric and asymmetric M-H loops were obtained for the samples. Magnetization loops obtained from measurements were successfully described by the extended Valkov-Khrustalev model. The temperature and applied magnetic field dependencies of magnetization of sample were estimated and critical current density of samples was calculated by Bean model and pinning force of samples was calculated by using Lorentz force. It is found from critical current density values that Se additions were acted as a pinning center which increased critical current density. В© 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

Несмотря на большое количество проведенных экспериментальных и теоретических работ по спин-вентильным структурам эффекты межслойного взаимодействия, происходящие в данных структурах, в настоящее время остаются полностью не выясненными.Magnetic spin-valve structures are of great practical interest as sensors of weak magnetic fields, as well as switching elements of the magnetic logic. Despite the large number of experimental and theoretical work on spin-valve structures, the effects of interlayer interactions occurring in these structures at present time is not fully clarified.

Аннотация: IIn this work, the effect of ZrO2 nanoparticles prepared in a low-pressure arc discharge plasma on magnetic flux pinning of granular YBa2Cu3O7-y /nanoZrO2 composites has been studied. It has been shown that the ZrO2 nanoparticles do not change the superconducting transition and the microstructure of superconductors. At a temperature of 5 K, the addition of 0.5 and 1 wt % of ZrO2 nanoparticles may lead to the additional effect of magnetic flux pinning and the increase in the critical current density J c. The J c value for composites with 1 wt % is two times larger than that for the reference sample. The fishtail effect is observed for YBa2Cu3O7-y /nanoZrO2 composites at the temperatures of 20 and 50 K. The problems associated with the additional effect of magnetic flux pinning of granular YBa2Cu3O7-y /nanoZrO2 composites and the appearance of the fishtail effect have been discussed.

Аннотация: Eu–Ba–Cu–O composition was synthesized by solid state reaction technique. To determine optimum growth temperature, heat treatment was examined on the material at 880–1,100 °C. Microstructural evolution, phase formation and elemental distribution depending on heat treatments were examined by using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscope analysis. Optimum fabrication conditions were determined as 1,020 °C for 24 h under oxygen atmosphere and detailed characterization of corresponding compound was performed. The magnetization hysteresis loops are expounded to be the product of superconducting Eu-123 grains and magnetic Eu2+ ions. The peak effect on the magnetization curves was described by the extended critical state model. Scaling of the pinning force was found such that the peak position is proportional to the irreversibility field H irr and the maximum pinning force is proportional to H irr 2 .

Аннотация: This paper shows that the combination of self-assembled structures in the form of "whiskers" and nanoparticles, which appear as a result of the joint sintering powders YBa2Cu3O7-x and arc nanopowders CuO, leads to a significant increase in the current density and the appearance of the peak effect in strong magnetic fields range. Very high critical current density appears from a complex vortex pinning, where the defects in the form of "whiskers" provides more energy of pinning, and nanoparticles inhibit the flux creep. Regulation of the morphology of such structures can be achieved by simple change of the concentration of nanodispersed additives. It is shown that the optimal additive is CuO equal to 20 wt. %. © 2015 AIP Publishing LLC.

Аннотация: The current-voltage characteristics of a porous superconductor Bi(2)Sr(2)Ca(2)Cu(3)O (x) (Bi2223) have been measured at temperatures in the range from 10 to 90 K in magnetic fields of 0-80 kOe. The experimental dependences have been analyzed within the model allowing for pinning by clusters of a normal phase with fractal boundaries, as well as the model taking into account phase transformations of vortex matter. It has been found that the electrical resistance of the superconductor material significantly increases at temperatures of 60-70 K over the entire range of magnetic fields under consideration without changing in the sign of the curvature of the dependence R(I). It has been assumed that this behavior is associated with the specific feature of the pinning in a highly porous high-temperature superconductor, which lies in the fractality of the distribution of pinning centers in a wide range of self-similarity scales. The studied material at the aforementioned temperatures is characterized by the melting of the vortex structure.

Аннотация: In order to clarify the mechanisms in charge of broadening of resistive transition R(T) in magnetic fields of bismuth-based polycrystalline high-T (C) superconductor (HTSC), a comparative study of Bi1.8Pb0.3Sr1.9Ca2Cu3O (x) (BSCCO) and YBa2Cu3O7-delta (YBCO) have been performed. Magnetoresistive effects and irreversibility line obtained from magnetic measurements have been studied. It was established that (1) for YBCO, the smooth part of R(T) dependence unambiguously corresponds to dissipation in the intergrain boundaries for arbitrary magnetic fields; (2) for polycrystalline BSCCO, the smooth part of R(T) dependences correspond to dissipation within intergrain boundary subsystem in the field range H 10(2) Oe only, while standard measurements of R(T) dependences in magnetic field range H 10(2) Oe reflect the dissipation processes occurring both in intergrain boundary and HTSC grain subsystems; (3) for the high-field range, the contribution from intergrain boundaries of BSCCO can be distinguished from magnetoresistance R(H) dependences obtained at high enough current density on textured samples. It is proposed that various magneto-resistive properties of these classical HTSC systems are due comparatively weak pinning in BSCCO.

Аннотация: Inhomogeneous distribution of the pinning force in superconductor results in a magnetization asymmetry. A model considering the field distribution in superconductor was developed and symmetric and asymmetric magnetization loops of porous and textured Bi1.8Pb0.3Sr1.9Ca2Cu3Ox were fitted. Аннотация: The time evolution of the magnetoresistance of bulk YBCO + CuO composites at T = 4.2 K in constant applied magnetic fields was studied to clarify the mechanism of hysteretic behavior of magnetoresistance R(H) of granular HTSC. The composites represent "model" granular HTSC with weakened Josephson coupling between superconducting (YBCO) crystallites. It was found for the first time that on the ascending branch of R(H) dependence, the resistance at H = const decreased with time while on the descending branch, the resistance increased with time in ail applied constant magnetic field. In the range of low magnetic fields (below the minimum point of the descending branch of the R(H) dependence), the resistance at H const decreased again. Similar measurements performed oil pure polycrystalline YBCO at T = 77.4 K have shown that the behavior of evolution of resistance with time is similar to that observed for the composite. This proves the peculiarity of time evolution of maignetoresistance to be a common feature of granular HTSCs. The behavior revealed is well described by the model Of granular HTSC, where the intergrain media is in an effective magnetic field which is the superposition of the external field and the field induced by superconducting grains. The time evolution of resistance reflects the time relaxation of magnetization of HTSC grains due to the intragrain flux Creep Processes. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Аннотация: The broadening of the resistive transition in magnetic field and isotherms of magnetoresistance of bulk composites Y-Ba-Cu-O + CuO have been studied. These composites exhibit large magneto-resistive effect in a wide temperature range below T (C) due to weakening of Josephson coupling in this system. The broadening of the resistive transition and magnetoresistance are explained well by the Ambegaokar-Halperin (AH) model for phase slip in Josephson junctions. The magnetic field dependence of pinning potential in the intergrain boundaries deduced from AH model found out to be similar to that of critical current of an array of Josephson junctions. The values of pinning energy point out that the large magneto-resistive effect observed in the composites results from flux flow-like processes at the intergrain boundaries.

It has a peak at a concentration value x = 0.0156, which corresponds to the most probable distance between cerium ions equal to eight lattice constants in the a-b plane and close to the diameter of vortices. Аннотация: The effect of conduction electrons on the magnetization curve of a metallic ferromagnet with surface pinning of the magnetic moment is investigated theoretically. The electronic contribution is due to the rearrangement of the discrete spectrum of charge carriers trapped by the nonuniform magnetic induction of such a ferromagnet, and it is a kind of diamagnetic effect that appreciably decreases the volume-averaged magnetization of the ferromagnet. A power-law dependence H-3/4 on the external magnetic field H is obtained according to the law of magnetization approach to saturation. Аннотация: We study the effect of the structure on critical currents and current-voltage characteristics (CVC's) of foamed bismuth-based polycrystalline high-temperature superconductors (HTSC). The fractal cluster structure of superconducting foams has been observed and the fractal dimension of boundaries between superconducting and normal clusters has been determined. Based on the magnetic and transport properties of the foamed polycrystalline superconductors, we have shown that the initial parts of CVC's of the superconducting foams are described well by the model that accounts the magnetic flux trapping in fractal clusters of a normal phase. Аннотация: Polycrystalline Y1−xNdxBa2Cu3O7−δ (x=0.02, 0.11, and 0.25) superconductors are synthesized. Nd atoms are uniformly distributed over grains. The magnetization loops of the samples have a pronounced second peak in a wide temperature range. The magnetization data are analyzed using the extended critical state model. It is found that the order-disorder transition of the vortex lattice is affected by doping with neodymium and temperature; the second-peak field and width decrease monotonically with increasing x value. The undoped polycrystalline YBa2Cu3O7−δ compound is assumed to exhibit the peak effect in higher magnetic fields.

Аннотация: Flux pinning forces were determined on different network samples of superconducting Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 (Bi-2212) nanowires prepared by the electrospinning technique. We employed magnetization data determined by SQUID magnetometry in a wide temperature range 10 K T 35 K, where a strong superconducting signal prevails. The scaling analysis of the pinning forces was applied to interprete the data obtained. Both pure and Li-doped Bi2212 nanowire networks exhibit a peak position of h0∼ 0.11, which is smaller than the expected value of h0

Аннотация: Magnetization loops of polycrystalline high-Tc superconductors always are semireversible; they have some asymmetry relative to field axis. These magnetization loops are described successfully by the extended critical state model, which accounts the equilibrium magnetization of the grain surface. The model is applied to determine the intragranular critical current density, the depth of the equilibrium surface region and the grain size from magnetic measurements. The dependence of the critical current density on the magnetic field, the pinning force scaling, the full penetration field and the irreversibility field are discussed.Асимметричные петли намагниченности высокотемпературных сверхпроводников успешно описываются расширенной моделью критического состояния. Внутригранульная плотность критического тока, глубина приповерхностного слоя с равновесной намагниченностью и размер гранул могут быть получены из магнитных измерений.

Аннотация: Three-dimensional periodic tin structures were synthesized by filling pores in silicon opals with a sphere diameter of 194 nm (Sn190) and 310 nm (Sn300). The samples were examined by the ultra-small-angle x-ray diffraction method, energy dispersive x-ray microanalysis and scanning electron microscopy. It was found that the inverse opal structure consists of tin nanoparticles inscribed in octahedral and tetrahedral pores with diameters of 128 nm and 70 nm for the sample Sn300, and 80 nm and 42 nm for the sample Sn190. The study of the magnetic properties of the samples by SQUID magnetometry showed that magnetization reversal curves exhibit hysteretic behavior. The mechanisms of magnetic flux pinning in the samples depend on the size of the tin nanoparticles. Tin nanoparticles in Sn300 behave like a classical type-I superconductor. The hysteretic behavior of the magnetization reversal curves at low magnetic fields is due to the formation of a network of superconducting contours in Sn300. These superconducting contours effectively trap the magnetic flux. The octahedral tin nanoparticles in Sn190 remain type-I superconductors, but smaller tetrahedral particles behave like type-II superconductors. Type-I and II superconducting particles in Sn190 lead to the coexistence of different mechanisms of flux pinning These are flux trapping by superconducting contours at low magnetic fields and flux pinning by tetrahedral particles due to the surface barrier at high magnetic fields.

Аннотация: This paper presents a review of studies of superconductors with a porosity above 50%. The pores in such superconducting materials allow refrigerant penetration and provide efficient heat dissipation and stable operation. Methods for the synthesis of the main groups of porous superconductors are described. The results of studies of the structural, magnetic, and electrical transport properties are presented, and the features of the current flow through porous superconductors of various types are considered. The directions of further development and application of porous superconductors are presented.
