Аннотация: Asymmetric magnetization loops with a second peak effect were parameterized by the extended critical state model. The magnetic field distribution in a sample is considered. Expression is suggested for a peak of the critical current density and corresponding depression on field dependence of the depth of surface layer with equilibrium magnetization. These functions determine the width and the asymmetry of a magnetization loop. Asymmetry of the secondary peak height on magnetization branches for increasing and decreasing field is reproduced on the computed magnetization curves.

Аннотация: The behavior of the hysteresis of the magnetoresistance R(H) of granular high-temperature superconductors has been investigated under the conditions where the resistive response of the subsystem of grain boundaries close to saturation. The hysteretic dependences R(H) have been measured for Y1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7 samples at x = 0.11 and 0.04 with the transition temperatures T-C approximate to 85.5 and 91.0 K, respectively. The evolution of the field width of the hysteresis R(H) has been examined by varying the measuring current. The limit of the applicability has been established for the concept of the effective field in the intergranular medium, which was previously proposed for the description of the hysteretic behavior of the magnetoresistance R(H) and thermal magnetic prehistory of the granular high-temperature superconductors. In the studied samples, the approximation of the effective field in the intergranular medium is applicable until the magnetoresistance of the subsystem of grain boundaries exceeds (90 +/- 5)% of the maximum value.

Аннотация: The fractal dimension of the boundaries of clusters formed by pores and granules in polycrystalline materials is shown to be determined by the sample density and crystallite sizes. The dependence of the fractal dimension on the density has a maximum. It is shown that the maximum diamagnetic response can be obtained in a porous high-temperature superconductor with a porosity of 50-60% and small crystallite sizes.

Аннотация: We study the spin resonance peak in recently discovered iron-based superconductors. The resonance peak observed in inelastic neutron scattering experiments agrees well with predicted results for the extended s-wave (s В±) gap symmetry. Recent neutron scattering measurements show that there is a disparity between transverse and longitudinal components of the dynamical spin susceptibility. Such breaking of the spin-rotational invariance in the spin-liquid phase can occur due to spin-orbit coupling. We study the role of the spin-orbit interaction in the multiorbital model for Fe-pnictides and show how it affects the spin resonance feature. В© 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

Аннотация: We study optical properties of the multiband superconductors with an s В± order parameter symmetry. By comparing results of our theory with experimental data on optical conductivity for Ba0.68K 0.32Fe2As2 single crystals, we show that satisfactory description of the novel superconductors can be obtained only considering a strong electron-boson coupling. We reexamine the effect of disorder and demonstrate that multiband superconductors are more robust with respect to it than naively expected by simple analogy with paramagnetic impurities in single-band superconductors. Moreover, disorder may give rise to new effects, in particular to a phase transition s В±>s ++. We discuss how the systematic study of disorder impact on the density of states and the optical conductivity may provide information on the underlying order parameter structure. Аннотация: The existence of space inhomogeneous superconductor insulator state (SISIS) found out earlier in polycrystalline samples of high-Tc system Ba0.6K0.4BiO3 (Tc?30 K) is confirmed on Ba0.6K0.4BiO3 single crystal. At T* (T*<Tc, T*?17 K) the transition from the homogeneous superconducting state into the SISIS occurs. SISIS is characterized by the appearance of two gapes on the Fermi surface: semi- and superconducting, that are modulated in space in antiphase, the electric transport between superconducting regions being carried out due to Josephson tunneling. Thus the whole sample becomes a multiple Josephson system. Nonlinear I-V curves, depended on temperature and magnetic field, that are typical to a Josephson system, are observed on Ba0.6K0.4BiO3 single crystal at temperatures below T*. Besides, a step like peculiarity at the values of voltage of the order of one and two superconducting gaps shows up. These peculiarities are suppressed by magnetic field much earlier then critical current. Perhaps the last phenomenon is the consequence of "coherent" state of several successive Josephson junctions, appeared in the exfoliation state. В© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Аннотация: We present a detailed study of the symmetry and structure of the pairing gap in Fe-based superconductors. We treat them as quasi-2D systems, decompose the pairing interaction into s− wave and d− wave channels and into contributions from scattering between different Fermi surfaces and analyze how each scattering evolves with doping and input parameters. We verify that each interaction is well approximated by the lowest angular harmonics and use this simplification to analyze the interplay between the interaction with and without spin-fluctuation components, the origin of the attraction in the s± and d x 2 −y 2 channels, the competition between them, the nature of angular dependence of the s± gaps along the electron Fermi surface, the conditions under which s± gap develops nodes, and the origin of superconductivity in heavily electron- or hole-doped systems, when only Fermi surfaces of one type are present. In particular, we find that with increased electron and hole doping, the competition from d− wave grows. In the case of strong hole doping, there is some ambiguity over the leading solution, but in the case of strong electron doping, d− wave emerges as clear winner.

    Multiband model for the dynamical conductivity of superconducting pnictides manifestation of impurity induced s±às++ transition / D. V. Аннотация: The multiband (4 x4 bands) model and its reduction to the effective two-band model taking into account the strong interaction with intermediate spin-fluctuations have been successively applied to the description of the properties of Ba1-xKxFeAs2. On the base of this approach and using the extension of the formalism developed for the multiband system MgB2 we have calculated free energy and frequency dependent optical complex conductivity \ sigma ( \omega ,T) in the superconducting as well as the normal states of pnictides. An application of the presented approach to the ellipsometry data for single crystals of Ba1-xKxFeAs2 allows to describe some experimental features connected to multigap nature and strong coupling effects. Effects of rather strong nonmagnetic impurities beyond the Born approximation which can lead to the transitions in the superconducting order parameter S+- - S++ were investigated.
