Аннотация: The phase diagram of an antiferromagnet with the spin crossover from the high-spin to low-spin state with S = 0 with increasing external pressure has been calculated with regard to the pressure dependence of the exchange integral. The calculated results are compared with the experimental data on ferropericlase Fe x Mg1 – xO.

Аннотация: The effect of the exchange interaction between excited high-spin terms of transition metal ions in magnetic Mott–Hubbard insulators on the thermodynamics of the system with singlet terms of ions in the ground state near the crossover of singlet and high-spin terms with the increase in the pressure is studied with the effective Hamiltonian. It is shown that the crossover at the temperature below the critical T* ‹ TN is a first-order phase transition and is accompanied by a volume jump. The crossover at the temperature above T* is accompanied by a smooth change in the crystal volume.

Аннотация: Within the framework of a realistic multiband p-d model, we derived an effective Hamiltonian to describe the exchange interaction effects near the spin crossover in magnetic Mott-Hubbard insulators under pressure. It is shown that the single-ion mechanism of spin crossover under the change in the crystal field does not lead to a thermodynamic phase transition; however, at T = 0 a quantum phase transition appears. It has been found that the cooperativity leads to a modification of the quantum phase transition to a first-order phase transition and the appearance of metastable states of the system. The pressure-temperature phase diagram has been obtained to describe the magnetization and high-spin population near the spin crossover of Mott's insulators with d6 ions.

Аннотация: We study quench dynamics and defects formation in the one-dimensional quantum Ising chain in a time-dependent transverse magnetic field, given by a semi-infinite pulse and as the pulse of the finite width. The system’s final state depends on the quench time and pulse amplitude, resulting in the emergence of topological defects, and consists of a mixture of ground and excited states. We obtain a new analytical expression, generalizing the Landau–Zener (LZ) and adiabatic-impulse (AI) approximation formulas for the asymptotic probability of remaining in the ground state. We show that our theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the results of the numerical simulations, even when the LZ and AI approximations fail.

Аннотация: A theoretical model based on the relaxation equation for the density matrix has been proposed to describe the ultrafast time dynamics of magnetically ordered systems with spin crossover in an excited state under a sudden perturbation. Oscillations of the magnetization, the population of the high-spin state, and the generation of local vibrons at a transition of the system from the light-excited Franck-Condon low-spin state to the highspin ground state.

Аннотация: Within the multielectron model of magnetic insulator with two different spin terms at each cation and spin crossover under high pressure we have studied dynamics of a sudden excited non equilibrium spin state. We obtain the different relaxation of the magnetization, high spin/low spin occupation numbers, and the metal-oxygen bond length for different values of the external pressure. For each pressure-temperature values stationary state agrees to the mean field phase diagrams. We found the long living oscillations of magnetization for the high spin ground state at small pressure. Close to crossover pressure the smooth relaxation is accompanied with a set of sharp strongly non linear oscillations of magnetization and HS/LS occupation numbers that are accompanied by the Franck–Condon resonances.
