Аннотация: Changes in the electronic structure in the normal phase of high-T-c superconductors (HTSCs), viz., layered cuprates, are considered. The results of LDA + GTB calculations of the electron structure and the Fermi surface of La2-xSrxCuO4 one-layer cuprates with allowance for strong correlations are compared with ARPES and quantum oscillations data. Two critical points x(c1) and x(c2) are discovered at which the rearrangement of the Fermi surface takes place. In the vicinity of these points, changes in the thermodynamic properties at low temperatures are determined using the Lifshits ideology concerning 2.5-order quantum phase transitions. A singularity delta(C/T) proportional to (x-x(e))(1/2) in the electron heat capacity agrees well with the available experimental data in the vicinity of x(c1)approximate to 0.15. Sign reversal of the Hall constant upon doping is also considered qualitatively.

Аннотация: The interaction of two wave fields of different physical natures in a disordered medium with a zero-mean coupling between these fields is studied for the example of spin and elastic waves in zero-mean magnetostrictive media. It is shown that correlations between inhomogeneities of the coupling parameter and any other parameter of the medium lead to the appearance of an effective coupling parameter between the averaged waves, which is proportional to the intensity of the correlation and, correspondingly, to the possibility of the excitation of the averaged wave of one field by a force acting on the other wave field.

Аннотация: Theoretical XAFS spectra of highly correlated copper oxides have been presented as a product of a single-electron part obtained by the SCF X alpha- SW method, and a multi-electron part obtained by the multi-band multi-electron p-d model. The main line of CuK-spectrum of La2CuO4 was aligned to the Cud(10) (L) under bar configuration and the single satellite line was aligned to the Cud(9). Comparison of the theoretical data with the experimental ones shows that the ground state of the two-holes in the CuO4 doped cell is triplet. The last conclusion has been confirmed by analysis of CuL2,3-spectra of two-hole impurity states of doped CuO4 cell. Another interesting future of CuL2,3-spectra a peak 2.8 eV higher the threshold was aligned to the transitions into quasi-stationary states due to existence of a high barrier in the Cud-state potential.

Аннотация: Singular points of the autocorrelation function on the imaginary time axis that is averaged over the location of spins in the magnetically dilute spin lattice with isotropic spin-spin interaction at a high temperature have been studied. For the autocorrelation function in the approximation of the self-consistent fluctuating local field, nonlinear integral equations have been proposed which reflect the separation of the inhomogeneous spin systems into close spins and other spins. The coordinates of the nearest singular points have been determined in terms of the radius of convergence of the expansion in powers of time, the coefficients of which have been calculated from recurrence equations. It has been shown that the coordinates of singular points and, consequently, the wings of the autocorrelation function spectrum at strong magnetic dilution are determined by the modulation of the local field by the nearest pairs of spins leading to its logarithmic concentration dependence.

Аннотация: The mechanisms of temperature and high pressure phase transitions have been studied by Raman spectroscopy. Room temperature (295 K) experiments under high hydrostatic pressure up to 3.6 GPa for (NH4)(2) MoO2 F-4 have been carried out. Experimental data indicates a phase transition into a new high-pressure phase for (NH4)(2) MoO2 F-4 at 1.2 GPa. This phase transition is related to the ordering anion octahedron groups [MoO2 F-4](2) and is not associated with ammonium group. Raman spectra of small non-oriented crystals ranging from 10 to 350 K have been observed. The experiment shows anion groups [MoO2 F-4](2-) and ammonium in high temperature phase are disordered. The phase transition at T-1 = 269.8 K is of the first-order, close to the tricritical point. The first temperature phase transition is related to the ordering anion octahedron groups [MoO2 F-4](2-). Second phase transitions T-2 = 180 K are associated with the ordering of ammonium. The data presented within this study demonstrate that 2D correlation analysis combined with traditional Raman spectroscopy are powerful tool to study phase transitions in the crystals. Аннотация: The electron structure of undoped LaMnO3 and slightly doped La1-xSrxMnO3 manganites has been calculated within the framework of a generalized tight binding method with explicit allowance for strong intra-atomic electron correlations. According to the results of these calculations, the ground state in orbitally disordered undoped LaMnO3 ferromagnets would be metallic despite the Mott-Hubbard correlation gap in the spectrum of quasiparticles. Owing to the orbital ordering, the insulating state is stabilized in both antiferromagnetic and paramagnetic phases. In-gap states of a polaron nature with a spectral weight proportional to the dopant concentration have been found near the top of the valence band in La1-xSrxMnO3. As the doping level increases, a metal state appears in the ferromagnetic phase, which has a metallic character for one spin subband and an insulating character for the other subband (representing the so-called half-metallic state).

Аннотация: The t-t'-t"-J* model of electrons interacting with three phonon modes (breathing, apical breathing, and buckling) is considered. The wave-vector dependence of the matrix elements of the electron-phonon interaction leads to opposite contributions to the pairing potential with the d(x2-y2) symmetry: the buckling mode facilitates electron pairing, while the breathing mode suppresses it. As a result, the critical temperature of La2-xSrxCuO4 that is associated with the magnetic mechanism is lowered when phonons are taken into account.

Аннотация: Electron-phonon interaction in cuprate oxides is consistently determined from realistic multi band p-d model in strong correlations limit. We consider the momenta dependence matrix elements of the EPI for modes which most coupled to electrons and analyze a possible mechanism of kink formation. By unitary transformation we obtain an effective low-energy single-band Hamiltonian that includes only electron-electron interactions renormalized by the electron-phonon coupling and depends on occupation factors. Аннотация: The convergence of series in powers of time for spin autocorrelation functions of the Heisenberg magnet are investigated at infinite temperatures on lattices of different dimensions d. The calculation data available at the present time for the coefficients of these series are used to estimate the corresponding radii of convergence, whose growth with decreasing d is revealed and explained in a self-consistent approximation. To this end, a simplified nonlinear equation corresponding to this approximation is suggested and solved for the autocorrelation function of a system with an arbitrary number Z of nearest neighbors. The coefficients of the expansion in powers of time for the solution are represented in the form of trees on the Bethe lattice with the coordination number Z. A computer simulation method is applied to calculate the expansion coefficients for trees embedded in square, triangular, and simple cubic lattices under the condition that the intersection of tree branches is forbidden. It is found that the excluded volume effect that manifests itself in a decrease in these coefficients and in an increase in the coordinate and exponent of the singularity of the autocorrelation function on the imaginary time axis is intensified with decreasing lattice dimensions.

Аннотация: Two- and four-point density correlation functions p(2)(r) and p(4)(r) are studied numerically and theoretically in computer-generated three-dimensional lattice cluster-cluster aggregates (CCA) with the number of particles N up to 20 000 in application to the light scattering problem. The ''pure'' aggregation algorithm is used, where subclusters of all possible sizes are allowed to collide. We find that large CCA clusters demonstrate pronounced multiscaling. In particular, the fractal dimension determined from the slope of p(2)(r) at small distances differs from that found from the dependence of the radius of gyration on the number of monomers (according to our data, 1.80 and 1.94, respectively). We also consider different functional forms for p(2) and their general properties and applicability. We find that the best fit to the numerical data is provided by the generalized exponential cutoff function with coefficients depending on N. The latter dependence is a manifestation of multiscaling. We propose some theoretical approaches for calculating p(4)(r), assuming p(2)(r) is known. In particular, we find the small-r asymptote for the p(4)(r) and verify it numerically. In addition, we find that p(4)(r) cannot be represented by a scaling dependence with a cutoff function, like p(2)(r) Instead, p(4)(r) is given by an expansion in terms of integer powers of r(2D-3), where D is the fractal dimension (approximate to 1.8 for CCA clusters).

Аннотация: The time evolution of multispin correlations (the growth of the number of correlated spins as a function of time) can be observed directly using the multiple-quantum nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of solids. A quantity related to this number, namely, the second moment of the intensity distribution of coherences of different orders in the multiple-quantum spectrum can be calculated using the theory proposed in this work. An approach to the calculation of the four-spin time correlation function through which this moment is expressed is developed. The main sequences of contributions in the expansion of this function into a time power series are summed using the approximation of a large number of neighbors both for systems with a secular dipole-dipole interaction and for systems with a nonsecular effective interaction. An exponential dependence of is obtained. The value of is additionally calculated using an expansion in terms of orthogonal operators for three model examples corresponding to different limiting realizations of spin systems. It is shown that the results of the microscopic theory at least qualitatively agree with both the results obtained for model examples and experimental results obtained recently for adamantane.

Аннотация: We theoretically investigate the manifestations of the non-monotonic character and anisotropic peculiarities of the correlation functions of the inhomogeneities in the dispersion law and damping of plasma waves. The following specific effects have been found: a change in the character of the modifications, dispersion law and damping for small wavenumbers; dependence of the plasma frequency shift on the direction of the wave propagation. We substantiate possibilities for developing the correlation spectroscopy of plasma waves which would enable us not only to measure a correlation radius of the inhomogeneities (this has been suggested earlier), but also to obtain information in the form of the correlation function.
