Аннотация: The effect of random one- (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) inhomogeneities of the magnetic anisotropy on the shape and width of ferromagnetic resonance line in a thin film has been studied in the standard and new self-consistent approximations. It has been shown that resonance peaks in the case of 2D inhomogeneities are much narrower than those for 1D ones. Peaks are asymmetric in both the 1D and 2D cases, but asymmetry is larger in the latter case. As the correlation wavenumber of inhomogeneities kc increases, the width of a resonance line decreases and its amplitude increases. The amplitude of the FMR peak for 2D inhomogeneities increases much faster than that for 1D inhomogeneities. At the critical dimensionless parameter kcd/π ~ 1, where d is the thickness of the film, the width of the resonance line has an inflection point and the asymmetry of this line and the shift of the ferromagnetic resonance peak are maximal. It has been shown that the new self-consistent approximation reproduces the shape of the resonance line much better than the standard self-consistent approximation.

Аннотация: Влияние двумерных неоднородностей на динамическую восприимчивость (функцию Грина) ферромагнетиков рассмотрено. Исследование проведено численно с учетом процессов многократного рассеивания волн на случайных неоднородностях в рамках самосогласованного приближения. Показано, что пики функций Грина под действием двумерных неоднородностей принимают асимметричную форму. Низкочастотные края пиков имеют более крутой спад, а высокочастотные края имеют более пологий спад, с хвостами, вытянутыми в высокочастотную область. С ростом корреляционного волнового числа двумерных неоднородностей ширины пиков уменьшаются, асимметрия формы пиков увеличивается, достигает максимума и затем уменьшаетсяEffects of two-dimensional inhomogeneities on the dynamic susceptibility (Green function) of ferromagnets have been considered. The study was carried out numerically, taking into account the processes of multiple scattering of waves by random inhomogeneities in the framework of the self-consistent approximation. It has been shown that the peaks of the Green functions under the action of two-dimensional inhomogeneities took on an asymmetric shape. The low-frequency edges of the peaks have a steeper roll-off, and the high-frequency edges have a gentler roll-off, with tails stretched into the high-frequency region. With an increase in the correlation wave number of twodimensional inhomogeneities, the widths of the peaks decrease, the asymmetry of the peak shapes increases, reaches a maximum, and then decreases.

Аннотация: Layered magnetic films of Co–P alloy, which are sets of laminates with certain atomic and chemical structures, have been investigated by spin-wave resonance. Coatings of two types were synthesized: a magnonic crystal (amorphous Co(P)/fcc Co(P))N and gradient Co(P) films. They exhibit two different modifications of the spin-wave resonance (SWR) spectrum. In the first case, the SWR spectrum is described as Hn(n) ~ n2 with a modification caused by the formation of the first stop band of the magnonic crystal. In the second case, the dependence of resonance fields Hn of the spin-wave modes on mode number n has the form of Hn(n) ~ n2/3. Thermal annealing leads to crystallization (amorphous alloy → fcc) and causes transformation of the layered films to the films of single-phase Co–P alloys, which is accompanied by a change in the shapes of the SWR spectra and occurrence of a “exchange kink” spectral modification.

Аннотация: Inhomogeneous layered magnetic thin films of amorphous and nanocrystalline Со–Р and Co–Ni alloys are studied via spin-wave resonance. It is found that the formation of a magnetic potential profile specified over the coating thickness leads to characteristic modifications of the spin-wave resonance spectrum. Another important factor that determines the type of modification is the dominant magnetic parameter (the constant of magnetization or exchange coupling).

Аннотация: A new self-consistent approximation proposed earlier, is compared with various existing approximations, as well as with a numerical simulation of solutions of the wave equation for a medium with one-dimensional inhomogeneities. The Green's function, found using the new approach, is the closest to the result obtained by the numerical simulation. The results of the work show that the new approach has undoubted advantages in the study of stochastic problems in media with longwave inhomogeneities. The new self-consistent approximation in some cases has advantages over a numerical method: a more rapid process of calculation and the possibility of consideration of three-dimensional problems.

Аннотация: The dependence of the ferromagnetic resonance linewidth on the thickness of nonmagnetic shells in powders consisting of ferromagnetic core–nonferromagnetic shell composite particles is investigated. It is found that an increase in shell thickness reduces the ferromagnetic resonance linewidth by several times, down to values comparable to those for coatings with compositions similar to that of the particle’s core. The observed effect is assumed to result from suppression of the inhomogeneity of demagnetizing fields in a powder consisting of magnetic particles. © 2017, Allerton Press, Inc.

Аннотация: In this work we demonstrate the occurrence of the characteristic spatial scale in the distribution of magnetization unrelated to the domain wall or crystallite size with using computer simulation of magnetization in a polycrystalline ferromagnetic nanowire. This is the stochastic domain size. We show that this length is included in the spectral density of the pinning force of domain wall on inhomogeneities of the crystallographic anisotropy. The constant and distribution of easy axes directions of the effective anisotropy of stochastic domain, are analytically calculated.

Аннотация: A self-consistent approximation of a higher level than the standard self-consistent approximation, known in various fields of physics as the Migdal, Kraichnan or Born self-consistent approximation, is derived taking into account both the first and second terms of the series for the vertex function. In contrast to the standard approximation, the new self-consistent approximation is described by a system of two coupled nonlinear integral equations for the self-energy and the vertex function. In addition to all the diagrams with non-intersecting lines of correlation/interaction taken into account by the standard self-consistent approximation, the new approach takes into account in each term of the Green's function expansion a significant number of diagrams with intersections of these lines. Because of this, the shape, linewidth, and amplitude of the resonance peaks of the dynamic susceptibility calculated in this approximation are much closer to the exact values of these characteristics. The advantage of the new self-consistent approach is demonstrated by the example of calculation of the dynamic susceptibility of waves in an inhomogeneous medium. © 2016 IOP Publishing Ltd.

Аннотация: Dynamic susceptibilities (Green's function) in a system of two wave fields of different physical nature connected by the zero-mean random coupling parameter are studied. Magnetoelastic waves in zero-mean magnetostrictive media are considered. It is shown that the Green's functions of the spin G? m(?) and elastic G? u(?) waves at the intersection of the initial dispersion laws have the form of broad single-mode peaks with the fine structure on the tops of these peaks: the narrow resonance on the top of G? m(?) and the narrow antiresonance on the top of G? u(?) For the longwave inhomogeneities the widths of the broad peaks and narrow peaks are determined by the rootmean- square fluctuation and the correlation wave number, respectively. Аннотация: The dynamic susceptibility and the one-dimensional density of states (DOS) of an initially sinusoidal superlattice (SL) with simultaneous presence of two-dimensional (2D) phase inhomogeneities that simulate the deformations of the interfaces between the SL's layers and three-dimensional (3D) amplitude inhomogeneities of the layer material of the SL were investigated. An analytical expression for the averaged Green's function of the sinusoidal SL with 2D phase inhomogeneities was obtained in the Bourret approximation. It was shown that the effect of increasing asymmetry of heights of the dynamic susceptibility peaks at the edge of the Brillouin zone of the SL, which was found in [6] at increasing the rms fluctuations of 2D inhomogeneities, also takes place at increasing the correlation wave number of such inhomogeneities. It was also shown that The increase of the tins fluctuations of 3D amplitude inhomogeneities in the superlattice with 2D phase inhomogeneities leads to the suppression of the asymmetry effect and to the decrease of the depth of the DOS gap.
