Аннотация: The space distribution of the components of the microscopic Hamiltonian of the antisymmetric Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya exchange with respect to the exchange bond pairs of the A subsystem of Cu2+ ions in the crystallographic 4b positions of CuB2O4 has been obtained using symmetry analysis. The possibility of the coexistence of two different types of the exchange spatial distribution is demonstrated. The component of the anti-symmetric exchange vector D parallel to the tetragonal axis has a weakly ferromagnetic distribution for all of the directions of the bonds between the nearest magnetic neighbors. Each exchange bond has an additional component of the antisymmetric exchange parallel to the bond projection on the tetragonal plane. The spatial distribution of these components is helicoidal with the modulation vector in the tetragonal crystal plane.

Аннотация: The algorithm of approximate solution was developed for the differential equation describing the anharmonical change of the spin orientation angle in the model of ferromagnet with the exchange competition between nearest and next nearest magnetic neighbors and the easy axis exchange anisotropy. The equation was obtained from the collinearity constraint on the discrete lattice. In the low anharmonicity approximation the equation is resulted to an autonomous form and is integrated in quadratures. The obvious dependence of the angle velocity and second derivative of angle from angle and initial condition was derived by expanding the first integral of the equation in the Taylor series in vicinity of initial condition. The ground state of the soliton solutions was calculated by a numerical minimization of the energy integral. The evaluation of the used approximation was made for a triple point of the phase diagram.

Разработан алгоритм приближенного решения дифференциального уравнения, описывающего ангармоническое изменение угла ориентации спина в модели легкоосного ферромагнетика с конкуренцией обменов между ближайшими и следующими за ближайшими магнитными соседями. Явная зависимость угловой скорости от угла и начального условия получена путем разложения первого интеграла уравнения в ряд Тейлора в окрестности начального условия

Аннотация: By means of the exact solution of the Schrodinger equation the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the energy for two-magnon states in the one-dimensional isotropic Heisenberg spin chain of N spins-1/2 were found. It is shown that symmetrical and antisymmetrical complex solutions have different K-dependences of the energy. Exact values of the quasi-momentum for both branches are compared with a string hypothesis prediction and solutions of the Bethe ansatz equations. With the help of the obtained solutions it was shown that resonance absorption leads to a change in momentum of the existing magnon and excitation of the magnon whose momentum is different from the absorption momentum.

Аннотация: The phase transitions into flat and conical incommensurate magnetic structures are considered for a ferrimagnet with the dominant nonfrustrated exchange between the spins in one crystallographic position, competing exchanges between the spins in another position and frustrated exchange between the spins in different positions. The appearance conditions and the temperatures of the second order phase transitions are analytically obtained in the mean field approximation. The first order phase transition between these states is studied and the phase diagrams of temperature vs frustrated exchanges are calculated by the numerical minimization of free energy.

Аннотация: A new mechanism is proposed for forming an incommensurate magnetic structure of the transverse helix type owing to the removal of frustration through intersubsystem exchange in a two-subsystem antiferromagnet. The symmetry analysis of the distribution of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and comparison with the experimental data on the field dependence of magnetization indicate that antisymmetric exchange and competition between symmetric exchanges cannot be responsible for forming a helical magnetic structure in CuB2O4.

Аннотация: The ground state of a classical two-sublattice ferromagnet with the noncollinear single-ion anisotropy axes of the sublattices and the antisymmetric and anisotropic symmetric exchanges between them has been investigated in a magnetic field applied along the hard magnetization directions in the crystal. The threshold relations for the parameters of the anisotropic interactions have been obtained, which determine the choice of the ground state among the three possible magnetic phases. Depending on the ground state type and the field direction, the transition between the phases is a first- or second-order phase transition. The antisymmetric exchange value above which the reorientation between the noncollinear phases ends with a second-order transition depends on the angle between the local easy axes and the single-ion anisotropy value. Field dependences of the magnetization and susceptibility for different ground states have been calculated. A comparison with the results of the magnetic measurements in the highly anisotropic PbMnBO4 ferromagnet has been made.

Аннотация: A system of two nonlinear differential equations for sublattice angles is proposed to describe the spin orientation distribution in a planar antiferromagnet with uniform antisymmetric exchange in a magnetic field. This system involves the initial symmetry of the problem and is reduced to a single delay differential equation. The solutions of this system are parameterized by the initial condition imposed on the angle of one sublattice at the hyperbolic singular point of the phase space. The numerical analysis of the stability boundary of soliton solutions demonstrates that the transition to the commensurate phase takes place outside the region where the stochastic solutions appear and is accompanied by the magnetization jump Delta m similar to 10(-1) m.

Аннотация: The ground state of the four-sublattice PbMnBO4 ferromagnet is investigated taking into account the symmetry of the crystal and the spatial distribution of the orbital states of the Mn3+ ions. By numerical minimization of the energy of the ground state of the classical model with three types of anisotropy—single-ion, dipole–dipole, and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction—the anisotropic interaction parameters for magnetic phases with different orientations of the total magnetization in the crystal are obtained. It is demonstrated that the experimentally observed state with the magnetization directed along the a orthorhombic axis becomes the ground state only in the presence of antisymmetric anisotropic exchange.

Аннотация: The phase diagram of the ground state has been calculated for a rhombohedral antiferromagnet of the R3m symmetry with frustrated exchange in the base plane and competition of exchanges between the nearest and next-nearest planes. The diagram contains phases of collinear antiferromagnetic ordering of various types separated by five incommensurate magnetic states of the helicoidal type, differing in the ordering type and in the direction of the modulation vector. The commensurate and incommensurate phases converge at multi-critical points lying on a line corresponding to an antiferromagnet with an undistorted simple cubic lattice.
